Our home away from home
This is actually our second time staying at the Anchorage. We love it. It’s comfortable and have everything we need. Everything was very clean and home well kept. Only issue was pesty gnats during our stay, but wasnt terrible. Will definitely book here again.

Not a great experience
Upon arrival, the beach condo seemed clean but the shower had mold around the edges, the shower curtain in other bathroom was dirty, and under the beds and couches it was so gross like it’s never been touched. I found an empty water bottle under our bed. There was also a ton of mold in the washing machine. We were also told before our stay that the condo had beach towels because I specifically asked; however, there were none. I asked Vacasa about it twice and no one ever brought us any towels. The garage code wouldn’t work so we couldn’t access the garage from outside. We could from inside so not a huge deal but a “ticket” was put in and no one ever followed up or came to fix. The WiFi was off and on our entire stay. We had periods of no WiFi connection at all multiple times and then when there was connection, it was poor. We had to watch movies on our laptop through our hotspot with the kids. The tv remote would barely function on the tv in the living room. We enjoyed the area and had a great vacation but all the issues and poor assistance from Vacasa was very unfortunate. Plus, no one even attempted to remedy the situation after I reported many issues.

Things you need to know
Beautiful unit, well stocked kitchen. If you drink coffee bring your own coffee pot. The knockoff kuerig was old leaked and made the coffee taste awful. The Hub across the street sells good coffee. Very dusty ceiling fans, vents and dust boards probably have never been dusted or cleaned. Personally i always look at those things. The garage code did not work. The garage was stocked with beach items I was told were not available at the unit; 2 bikes, 3 beach chairs, umbrella, small cooler, lots of beach toys. No details were provided about the community, pool access code, or beach access points. So ill tell you. There are 2 pools a north and south pool. The North pool is closest (down the street) its much larger and possibly heated. There is a large covered grill area, gazebo and lots of chairs and loungers. The bathrooms are large and clean. The south pool is across the street near the Hub. Its smaller and the water was colder. The closet beach access is Deer Park. Its .60miles away you can walk, ride a bike or drive. There is parking but can fill quickly due to the limited space. There is a access fee of $3. But worth to have a large beach access with public restrooms. The other close access points are towards SeaCrest I believe I counted 3. One has some street parking across from the entry near a tree line. The others have a small bike rack. But no public restroom nearby. Overall its a nice home just needs some care and Vacasa needs to be better informed of the unit.

When we arrive...dore was very hard top open because of code système i Guess. Of course i try tonhave Hello with phone number....no response. After, internet connexion was awful ! Nevertheless apartment was very useful and clean .

I am awaiting for a resolution from Vacasa. This property was FILTHY. From blood stained bed cover, to sand everywhere in home, to trash being left behind, so stained towels, so an ant infestation problem. The guests stayed at our friends home down the street because the guest bedroom was so bad with the ants and we ended up leaving a day early because our 14 month old son had multiple ant bites that were ALL over the kitchen. Mind you, not little ants… damn ants that bite hard. Needless to say, I’m filing a dispute if this does not get resolved ASAP. We paid decent money for the property to be turned over the way it was. So absolutely dissatisfied

My husband and I rented for a month. Condo is just like photos. Beautiful and good location. We drove to beach everyday. Not close enough to walk with fishing gear, but close enough for us. There was garbage in garage when we arrived which stunk by the time garbage day come. I called property mgmt about it and never got a response. I was hoping they would remove it. The gas stove was difficult to master and felt a little dangerous- the markings on the knobs have rubbed off. Once you knew how it worked it was fine. The sofa needs to be replaced. It was uncomfortable to sit on for anything length of time. We planned to use it for sleeping ( it is a sleeper sofa) for two nights. When we opened it we found it was broken. 1 night we put mattress on the floor, the second night my son just slept on the sofa. We would stay again if the sofa was replaced. Overall, enjoyed our stay. Thank you.

The rental is beautiful. However, we will never rebook in the future. Our rental was supposed to have 2 adult bikes forums to use. However, it only had one and the tires were flat. We called 3 times and left an email, we heard nothing. There was no map or details about if we could grill out, and where to access the beach. We made it what we wanted but the Vacasa management is useless and we do not recommend using a rental through that management.

The property where the condo is located is well kept and pretty. The condo itself is very nice. Kitchen and laundry a plus. Den/living area NOT comfortable. The couch was so uncomfortable that we piled pillows just so we could sit. Didn’t help. Horrible couch (hide a bed). We were there 11 days so laundered sheets. Were horrified at the stains on the mattress covers. Disgusting. Not walkable to beach (2.5 miles away) but there is a shuttle. Such a lovely condo but needs a little TLC. Don’t think we’ll be back.

Great location, great amenities but did have some issues during our 3 day visit! There were 6 of us total and two had to sleep on the pull out couch (no biggie.) Unfortunately the pull out couch was VERY comfortable and not sturdy at all and seemed to be broken? We also had an issue with the AC unit not working during 100 degree weather!

We enjoyed our short stay despite the chilly temps. First time in the area, obviously would have been a better trip had the weather cooperated, but then again it would have been more crowded. House had everything we needed and thankfully close to the Hub. Unfortunately not knowing the area, we needed to drive to see other areas and realized getting to the beach would have been difficult.

Great location!
Located right across from the Hub making this place a great location. Super clean and a great space for me and my family. Only a couple complaints, the master bed was so uncomfortable as well as the couch in the living room. Consider replacing those and I definitely would come back. Couldn’t access the garage with the code they provided and there was only one bike available for use. Other than that it was great! We didn’t cook, but kitchen appears to be fully stocked with all the things you would need to cook/eat a meal in the house.

Great Place!
We had the pleasure of staying at this property for 4 days. The house looks just like the pictures. It was very clean, modern and full of natural sunlight. The home had everything you could want for a relaxing getaway. We spent most of our days on the nearby beaches and were very fortunate to find great parking each time. The walk to the beach is about 3.5 miles. However, parking is free. There is also a shuttle across the street from the property. We will definitely stay here again.
