Amazing ocean view
This condo has the most stunning ocean view; nearly the entire wall facing the ocean is windows. Full ocean view from the kitchen as well. Two very large bedrooms and two large, spa-like bathrooms. A big bonus was the two parking spaces inside the garage... each with plenty of room for an SUV, not cramped at all! We'll be back!

Our family had an amazing time. Location is perfect for families with kids of any age. Instant access to the beach and boardwalk and Belmont Park is steps away. Host I’m was great, very communicative and quick to respond! We will be back for sure!!!!

AMAZING!!
This property is the perfect location for the Belmont Park/Mission Beach area. We were able to walk to many places to eat and the beach was right in front of our door. My 91 year old MIL sat at the windows and watched people walk along the boardwalk all day long. She loved it. We will definitely stay here again. The only downside was that we seem to have come a little early to get any sun. in 10 days we had 1 day of sun at the beach. Coming from Phoenix and 110 degrees, it was great to have 65 every day! Thank you Jim for everything!

Great Stay!
Had a great vacation with our 3-year-old. Location and view can't be beat. Plenty of house amenities including beach chairs and toys. Garage parking made getting in and out easy. Owner was very communicative. Would definitely stay again.

Perfect location. Only negative was the sun wasn’t out as much as we would like and no “on the ocean” sunset😔. Other than that, we had a great time. The spot was perfect for the 4 of us!!!

This place was absolutely perfect! We have three kids 4 and under so co Venice was key for us. 5 steps to the beach, a walk to a lot of restaurants and close to everywhere we wanted to go! We definitely want to come back and stay again as it was so much fun!

Cannot beat the location! Easy access to food, beach, etc all in walking distance. Garage parking was a plus too. Owner was very responsive and helpful. Accomodated out family of five with plenty of space.

Wonderful host and wonderful location
This is our second time staying here and there will most likely be a third! The view and location are fabulous, and Jim is definitely a five star host! The condo itself is nice, but little touches like flowers, fresh fruit, NO things to do list upon departure help set this experience above others. Thanks Jim for sharing your home.

mission beach condo
The best part about this property is the location -- right on the beach and close to all that San-Diego has to offer. Communication with the owner was excellent and prompt. Very quick to respond and easy to work with. The property itself is starting to show its age (might be true for beach properties in general) but overall the condo was well equipped and met all our needs. The bathrooms were well appointed. The sleeping arrangement, with a murphy bed in the family room and a day bed in the small 2nd room, though entirely adequate for our family of 4, can prove to be a challenge for a bigger family or for 6 people as is listed.

Better than Imagined!
We had originally booked for Christmas day 2022 but a snowstorm hit and all flights were canceled. I thought our paid in full trip was done before it had started. Jim was wonderful though, and said to just keep an eye on the calendar and if something worked for both sides then it could still be a go. So almost a year later we were able to book Thanksgiving 2023 weekend. Oh what fun we had. Location could not be beat. Place was way beyond expectations. Will stay here every time if I head back to anywhere near San Diego!!!

Great Beach House
The house was clean upon arrival, it’s spacious, and you cannot beat the view. The house had everything my family needed for our week long stay. The linens on the beds were soft and great quality. The bathrooms are spacious and upgraded. Absolute perfect location. Right on the beech, a few minute walk to Belmont, the beach shops, and a short drive to SeaWorld and other amusement/tourist attractions. Highly recommend this location. We would stay here again! Tip: If you look out the window in the morning while enjoying your coffee you will more than likely spot dolphins close to shore!

This is the location you want!
Right on the beach! You get two parking spots in the garage. Such a great location. Owner is easy to communicate with and responds quickly. House was clean and everything was in working order. Plenty of beds which is a major bonus in this area. Amazing view. There is a built in speaker system that goes throughout the house and the when I was there it had everything you need for the beach. Great location, well equiped and well managed. Will definitely stay here again in the future.

Wonderful Beach House
Amazing property! Jim was amazing to work with and very accommodating to all our needs and responsive to all our questions. It was our first trip to San Diego and my kids originally had plans to do a lot of different things, but once we got to the property they didnt want to leave. We spent so much time on the beach and walking in the area. So many great memories to last a lifetime and fun to recharge our batteries. Highly recommend staying here.

Everything about the stay was perfect. The location, the lodging, the amenities, the host. There were fresh flowers and fruit to greet us. The house was immaculate. The host was amazingly responsive and accommodating. We watched dolphins jump and surf through the large, newly cleaned windows. We enjoyed the restaurant recommendations and the ease of walking almost everywhere. We didn’t want to leave!

All in all, a wonderful stay!
LOCATION/VIEW--A+ Fabulous location with outstanding oceanfront view. Mission Beach is wonderful, with a long walking beach, shops and restaurants, and Belmont Park just steps away. HOST--A+ Jim is very responsive both before and during the visit. The condo was extremely well-stocked with fresh fruit, paper goods, K-cups, dishwasher detergent, laundry supplies and toiletries. Really nice to not have to bring/buy those supplies. Although we didn't use them, it looked like there were plenty of beach chairs, toys, etc. And there is NO things to do list upon leaving (laundry, stripping beds, etc.) which we REALLY appreciated. KITCHEN--A Really nice updated kitchen with a very good variety of supplies and utensils. The ice maker is too slow to be usable, so plan on buying ice. BATHROOMS--B Bathrooms are clean and updated, but showing some wear and tear. BEDS--C The beds are pretty soft and seem to be near or at the end of their useful lives. CONDO OVERALL--B+ It's a really nice 1970's updated condo that is very comfortable. Again, the views are gorgeous. I wouldn't call it luxurious, but definitely clean and comfortable. Your first impression will be going up the stairs to the condo. Don't let that scare you! Definitely needs a coat of paint, but once you go inside, it's forgotten. Note that one of the photos is inaccurate...it shows the 2nd bedroom open from the living room. It's not. That wall has been filled in and the entrance is down the hallway. Also, be aware that you can hear the people upstairs walking around. No loud music or anything like that, but there was a very active kid running around during daylight hours. We spent a week here and wish we could have stayed another week. If you are looking for a beach vacation, you will love it here! Also, FYI, we took Amtrak's Pacific Surfliner to Disney and it was a breeze! A two-hour trip (each way) but really scenic. It drops off in Anaheim and the theme park is a $10 Uber ride away.
