Enjoy country living in this charming farmhouse guest cottage

Charming barn guest cottage located on a 5-acre farmhouse property with mountain views. This just built, compact 600 square-foot guest cottage has everything you need for a comfortable stay, including 2 bedrooms, a full kitchen, laundry facilities, small patio with grill, and RV water and electric hookup available for an additional fee. The main house is located directly adjacent the guesthouse, although not pictured. Escape to the country and still enjoy the convenience and close proximity to all the amenities you could need. Located between I25 and Hwy 83, only 20 minutes from the USAFA North Gate, 10 minute from downtown Monument, 30 minutes from Colorado Springs, and 50 minutes from Denver.

CDC Recommendations for cleaning of property are carefully followed. All surfaces are cleaned with detergent and water first and disinfected with diluted bleach solution. Sheets, blankets, etc are washed with hot water, laundry detergent and bleach, and dried at the highest setting. rugs disinfected with lysol.

An amazing getaway.

I absolutely LOVED my stay here. The house itself is very cozy comfortable, and quiet - it was exactly what I was looking for with my Colorado getaway. Dan and Sydney were wonderful hosts - super communicative and very kind. For anyone who is looking for a quiet getaway for their Colorado trip, this house has everything you could want. Can't recommend this highly enough. Thank you Dan and Sydney!

Great little Apartment for 2

We had a wonderful 8 day stay at Sydney's apartment that is located next to their home. It was clean and had everything we needed. Communication was excellent. The only minor complaint was a barking dog in the evening but we realized that was outside of Sydney's control.

Quiet retreat!

Was looking to be close to the northern part of Colorado Springs/Tech Center, and this was within a 20 minute drive and yet you were out in the country. Exceptional!

Perfect place for our needs

We attended a wedding at Spruce Mountain Lodge about 15 minutes away. The location was perfect and everything about it made it a relaxing little get away for the two of us. Thank you!

Love this place!

Place was fabulous ! Clean, cozy and cute. Hosts were so accommodating to anything we needed and great communication. Loved the country setting and view of animals from our patio. So adorable seeing their horse Penny every morning waiting for her breakfast.💜 Guest house is close to main residence but plenty of privacy. Would highly recommend.

Such a cute place! My sister and I came to the area for a hiking trip and this was the perfect place to stay. Very clean and decorated so nice! We would love to stay again if we’re ever in the area. Great communication with the host too.

The house was very clean and well kept. It fit our family of 5 well. Many kitchen amenities were available. The house was much closer to the main house and to other houses than we thought when booking the stay. The pictures appeared to show a house that was much more isolated.

Cute and cozy!

This little guest house is beautiful decorated, bright and cheerful. We love the quiet country setting away from the noise and business of the city. The host family is very friendly and helpful, but not ‘invasive’. They have gone above and beyond to try to ensure that everything you need is available. The appliances, cookware and dishes are all good quality, as are the linens. The room with the queen bed is very small - barely room to walk around the bed - but the living area with kitchen/dining/sitting area is open and has plenty of seating. Honestly, if you’re visiting this area you’re not going to be spending that much time sitting around inside anyway and there is a nice patio area with a grill and outdoor table and chairs where you can sit and relax and enjoy the fresh air. We would definitely stay here again!

Better than a hotel

With a family of 5, it is difficult to impossible to find a hotel to accommodate us. This VRBO was perfect for us!!! Each kid had there own bed…. The youngest used the trundle bed the first night and found it a bit uncomfortable, but moved to the sofa bed the rest of the stay and was much more comfortable. The location was perfect for us to visit my extended family which mostly lives on the north end of Colorado Springs and castle rock. Our girls also loved seeing and petting the horses/goats/dogs. We will definitely use this VRBO again when visiting Colorado Springs.

Adorable Country Setting, close to the sights

Our family of six (two adults, children aged 6, 8, 10, and 11) enjoyed our stay at The Barn. The location was great: off the beaten path, quiet, but close to everything we wanted to do/ see. Clean, comfortable, adorable. The binder has great info/ suggestions for your stay. Communication with hosts is quick and easy.

The Barn just felt like home. Comfortable and relaxing had absolutely everything we needed and anything else we wanted was right around the corner!! Would highly recommend you stay here! Fanily Vacation

We had a great stay at The Barn. It was nice and clean and provided everything that we needed. It was also in a quiet area which was nice after long and busy days exploring the area. We liked having farm animals nearby as it reminded us of our own home with our ducks and our neighbors turkeys, peahens, chickens, and horses. Definitely would recommend this property and host!

Cozy, clean with thought and care put into our stay. Received welcoming message, easy check in/out process. Had all the extra touches like iron and ironing board, blowdryer, recommendations, first aid kit and makeup removal pads, kids basket with games for all ages and activity books.
