Panhandle Getaways furnishes a few essential items for guests to utilize until they can get to the grocery store. Initial Supplies include: Dishwasher soap, small washing machine powder, each bathroom has amenities (like hotel but NOT restocked) shampoo, conditioner, soap bar. One roll of toilet paper in each bathroom & one paper towel roll in the kitchen. All bed linens & towels are provided. We encourage guests to bring beach towels for use at the pool and beach.

Excellent Rental

My family of 5 along with 5 additional friends rented the Blue Daze for a week. The condo was nice. The check in and check out process was efficient and the bikes and golf card that came with it were very convenient. The stay was very enjoyable.

Nice house, terrible management company

Panhandle Getaways manages this house and their service was terrible. The house was not cleaned well, toenail clippings by couch, feces on toilet. When I reported this via text, no response back in regards to the cleanliness issues. Also, they were extremely rude about checking to see if we could possibly check in early. Great house in amazing location, owners should definitely consider changing management companies.

Would definately recommend!

The house was very spacious and clean. Plenty of pans, utensils, and small appliances. Spices were available but bring salt and pepper. We had a few hiccups but Panhandle Getaways were extremely accommodating and quick to fix the problem. Very nice area and with the pool so close, it was a big hit for the grandchildren. Will definitely be back next year but in a different house since this one is already booked for next year.

Great house, but a couple things to mention...

We loved the layout of the house and the enclave of bunkbeds. The master upstairs and master downstairs are both laid out well. There is no way that we would recommend anyone walking to the beach from this location. However, there is a golf cart available. The golf cart drives rough but it gets you from A to B. There is parking at the front of the community for golf carts, and then you can walk to the beach. We liked a pool was super close and spent some time there. What we didn't care for: We prefer renting from people over businesses. We thought we were renting from homeowners, but the management company was Panhandle. There isn't anything wrong with it and I can understand why people defer to a management company, but we prefer homeowners. The dishwasher was broken. Panhandle told us the day before and said that a repairman might come by, but didn't. The Ice Machine was broken as well. I called Panhandle, but no one ever got back to me. The front lock to the sliding doors didn't lock, so I looped a metal chair around the handle and I slept on the couch. A few dirty dishes in the cabinet. These discrepancies are probably isolated and unknown to the homeowner. It's a great house centrally located between Seacrest beach and the Hub. I would probably stay here again if the issues mentioned are fixed.

Great place!

Very clean and great area! Part of the beach is closed off to certain condos/townhomes so we had to walk further on the beach than we anticipated to find a spot to sit on the beach. Other than that, it was great place. The house was really nice and exceeded our expectations. We hope to stay there again in the future!

Family Vacation

Overall this property was very nice. The inclusion of a golf cart and 4 bikes was a major reason for choosing this property, and we were unaware it was directly across the street from the pool but that was a very nice surprise! Golf cart tires were completely shredded when we arrived and wasn't safe to drive, so there was a stall in our activities but communication was good to provide loaner and update on switching out. Unit could have used some additional common items (full spice rack but no salt/pepper, more than 2 dishwasher pods for a week, hand soap, etc.), but overall fairly well stocked. Beach access was directly across the street (30A), however you had to walk a few hundred feet down to where you could setup so not directly accessible. Don't forget to bring chairs to this cottage because their are none to throw on the cart and go to the beach. Cottage is in the back of the property which we did not expect, so not possible to walk to the beach if that was the thought. Needed an exterminator treatment also - saw some interesting creatures inside. :) Again, overall good - nice cottage but just not 100% what we expected.

Blue Daze

We had an amazing time at Blue Daze! There was plenty of room for our group of 6 (we could have easily brought a few more!). The house is beautiful, and has a wonderfully stocked kitchen. We loved sitting on the screen porch to enjoy our coffee every morning. Having the pool directly across the street was perfect…my 2 boys loved to stop by to end each day after the beach! We enjoyed taking the golf cart to the beach, but the tires need replacement. They are very bald/showing metal, which made us too nervous to drive it down 30A. Hopefully they will be replaced soon! We look forward to coming back to Blue Daze!

Relaxing Poolside House

This house had everything we needed for 4 adults, 2 teens, 2 ten year olds and a baby! The four boys loved the four bikes. The golf cart made getting to and from the beach fun and easy! The pool was right across the brick paved street so close the baby monitor reached for nap time! The big boys had space for wiffle ball and football games in the grassy area next to the pool. Outdoor shower off upstairs master was a hit with kids and adults! Dining table big enough for all of us. It was a perfect place for two families with kids. We actually had two bunk beds that didn’t get used. Thanks for a great week!

Great place!

This house is directly across the (small) street from the pool. The golf cart is perfect for riding to the front of the neighborhood to park and walk across to the beach. We are able to take the golf cart to dinner each night too. The house was clean and had everything we needed. I would definitely stay there again.
