Fantastic 135 sq.m. villa located in heart of Crete, in Roupes picturesque village, ideally for scenic drives, & excursions. Perfectly located at the foot of Crete’s highest mountain range Psiloritis, with stunning panoramic views of Crete’s northern coastline and breathtaking views of the landscape. Ideally located in the center of the island, it serves as a perfect base from which the main attractions Crete has to offer can easily be reached. Rethymno town is easy to reach, being only 18km from Roupes. It is about a 15-minute drive along the highway to reach the town center.
What makes this property unique
This area itself is famous for its archaeology and nearby you will find the Ancient site of Eleftherna and the infamous Arkadi Monastery. The surrounding area is of magnificent natural beauty and you are within 10 minutes' driving distance to the golden sandy beach. Mountain bikes are available for your use and the area is perfect for exploring on foot and discovering the Cretan lifestyle and traditions you will come across in the nearby rural villages.
