Onsite restaurant, pizza oven, and coffee shop, concierge and fitness center, there is little need to ever leave!

Step out onto the spacious lanai and take in the beautiful mountain and ocean view as you sip your relaxing morning coffee. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall we had a great stay! The location and amenities were perfect. The views from the room, pool and beach were spectacular! The room itself had everything we needed - mini kitchen with fridge, washer and dryer and some beach gear (cooler & chairs). The layout of the room provided us with plenty of room for us to unpack and be comfortable. Updates are definitely needed but for the price we paid I’m not complaining. It was clean, comfortable and had AC (a plus). The realty team was VERY helpful and always quick to respond. I definitely recommitting staying at this resort!

Beautiful Location!

This was such a beautiful location and was overall a wonderful and relaxing stay! The unit is complete with a washer and dryer, which was great to be able to wash a couple loads before our return trip. The view from our room was INCREDIBLE and it provided a stunning view of the sunset. The unit also provided snorkel gear, beach chairs, boogie boards, floaties, and a cooler that were available for out use. It made beach days super easy.My only complaint is that we did have an issue with the shower knob falling off on the morning of our second to last day there (resulting in us being unable to turn off the shower). I think this was due to the salt water on the island corroding the metal, so it wasn't really anyone's fault. I called the number provided right away and the Hanalei Bay Resort Maintenance came within 10 mins. Unfortunately, the entire knob needed replaced and no one was able to come and do it until the following morning. We had to use the complimentary showers in the Resort's public bathroom, which was a little bit of an inconvenience. That is the only reason for deducting one star. Other than that, we had an incredible stay! I would definitely rent this unit again.

Perfect Couples Mini Suite

Nice room, plenty of space and enough food prep stuff to prepare some meals, so no need to go out for everything.Good location near resort entry and pool and spa. Nice view from lanai. Also a nice walk to the fairly private beach. We enjoyed our stay very much and look forward to returning in the future.

Great location in the complex and beautiful view! 4 stars instead of 5 bc the shower/bath faucet needs to be repaired or replaced. Difficult to turn and falls off. Otherwise great unit.

a quite time to reflect

The unit is close to checkin and parking lot and ice machine. It was clean and it had laundry inside unit with soap... nice touch there. Good view and close to the restaurant . Anywhere else on property would be a long walk. So , great location. It's on second floor facing the bay. Good sunsets.

Perfect little studio!

Me and my husband found this on VRBO and were pleasantly surprised it was apart of a resort! With access to the pool and hot tub. Very nice and cleanly and also has a balcony and beautiful view! Highly recommend to stay here!

Reviewer Comments: Although this unit 1205 at Hanalei Bay Resort was well equipped, there was no place to put anything and the tiny,tiny kitchen barely had enough room to place a plate on the counter. Counter sdpace was consumed by an oversized microwAVE.Also, there was no closet/place to hang long dresse, no toom to cook, not enough hooks to hand things in bathroom, a tiny dining table not even big enough for much of anything. Floors were dirty upon check in. Mostly this was a king bedroom... not a condo...and it shouldn't be advertised as such.

This resort is ideally located

Unit was clean and well appointed. Easy access to parking, office, restaurants and large pool. A bit noisy on the lanai as a result of the proximity to the restaurants. Beautiful grounds. Very well maintained. Gorgeous walk to the beach on a paved roadway.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My partner and I loved the room and the view and accommodations.I also feel very deceived and frustrated. I will share the accounting. The description states there are extra fees at the resort, and lists them. Thats after the $200 cleaning fee and random host extra fee of $31. Ok then it states there is $20/day extra and $25/day extra and GET tax per day. And $50 extra to check in, and Another check in fee of $7., andThen the $500 deposit that wasnt mentioned, i come to find out theres also a $245 charge from the resort with no explanation in it and an additional stream of 14% transient taxes per person per day! I am still battling w VRBO but they blame the host for the deception, then the host i try to contact doesnt respond and then blames the resort. So everyone kind of blaming anf lying but mostly just taking my money with no disclosure and in one case absolutely no explanation for $245.All total, i my CC was billed just under $1800 for 3 days of stay, and im just hoping to get ny $500 deposit back. This ad and this disclosure was and is atrocious. And at the same time i enjoyed the resort stay but would NEVER pay $1300 for 3 nights at a 3star resort! are u kidding me? Im going to keep fighting this but just want people to know EVEN w the host disclosure in the ad, THERE WILL STILL BE HUNDREDS MORE DOLLARS TAKENWhew ok so after reading the ad for $135/day stay for 3 nights

Hanalei Bay Resort Heaven

This condo was perfect for the two of us. The breathtaking views, lovely lanai, and the incredibly comfortable bed were the highlights. The condo had everything we needed. Great property! The two restaurants were delicious and the service was great. We will definitely return in the future!

What a view! Sunrises and sunsets were incredible from the balcony with an unbelievable view. The apartment could use some TLC with a deeper clean and some new paint, but certainly had everything we needed for a few days. We would still absolutely love to stay here again!

Condo needs some TLC.

Location and views were stunning! Would definitely stay at Hanalei Bay Resort again however this specific condo needed some TLC. Condo had all basic necessities but was pretty dirty when we arrived (splatter on a couple walls in bedroom and near garbage), found a whole orange under the bed and shower and bath mats needed some deep cleaning (did not appear to be cleaned at all). Also only two rolls of toilet paper for 8 days, ended up buying our own as room is not serviced by housekeeping. Resort had issues with wifi so no wifi in our room 7 of the 8 days of our stay which made it a little challenging to research and plan our days (unrelated to condo owner but considering you pay a hefty resort fee per day).

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Loved the views from the balcony and all around the property. The resort itself is dated and needs some attention in several areas. The pool is dated, waterfalls not working, and a few other minor things that need attention. With that said, we would stay here again when we return to Kauai. You will not get views like this anywhere else. The waterfalls on the mountains are stunning and you cannot and watch them while sipping your coffee or Mai Tai. Our room was comfortable and offered everything we needed, mini kitchen, toaster, blender, washer, dryer, detergent, toiletries and a welcome gift basket. The decor is dated, but who cares! We were on the balcony or walking the property most of the day when on property. Mattress was comfortable.
