We stayed there for a month, working remotely and sightseeing. Most of the time, we could easily be 2 on video calls and it worked fine without the video breaking up. It did occur one or 2 times that I had to turn my camera off, but I would say this place is totally suitable to work remotely. We either worked from the kitchen table or from outside, where they conveniently have 2 small tables. Overall, we were comfortable. The mattress is of good quality, but on the soft side: we both like firm beds, so we did not sleep that well. This is however a matter of preference, not due to the quality of the setup.
One downside is that the AC was extremely noisy, but it also broke down while we were there. Gary was very quick to answer and help us setup a temporary solution. I do not know what the current AC situation is, as it happened towards the end of our stay, and we were not there for the final repair.
As for how the apartment is furnished, it is overall quite good. There is room to store your clothes, a rack to dry clothes. Overall the kitchen is fine, but it can be a bit challenging to cook if you stay there for a month, as there are a few items missing: for example a bigger pot and a ladle. Also, the kitchen knives were all very dull. All in all, we did find workarounds, as most of the usual kitchen items were available and functional.
As for the location, it is conveniently set next to highways, and close to all usual necessary stores. We liked how easy it was to go to the Tonto National Forest and to other local parks. If you are a coffee afficionado, please note that it is a Starbucks area. Most of the nice coffee shops are downtown or East, towards Mesa or Scottsdale.
Finally, the people in the are are nice. We also had Fedex and Amazon deliver packages and all went well.
