Charming Guest House near Lambert's Cove Beach

Lovely, light-filled, one-bedroom guest house furnished with an eclectic mix of antique and contemporary furniture, plus original artwork by well-known Martha’s Vineyard artists. Interior has an open-concept living space with cathedral ceiling, multiple skylights and lots of windows. House has central AC and is well-appointed and fully equipped including beach paraphernalia and a gas grill.
Location is in a private wooded area off of Lambert’s Cove Rd and the Guest House is very separate from the main residence on the property so you may enjoy total privacy. It is about 1/2 mile to Lambert’s Cove Beach which is West Tisbury’s private beach and one of the most beautiful beaches on the Island! A walk-on pass for LCB is provided.

-This is a pet-free house due to allergies. (Sorry but even hypoallergenic dogs are not allowed.)
-Discounts may be available for stays of a month or longer, or for a single occupant (please inquire).

Weekend getaway

The cottage was beautifully decorated & peaceful. The owners went out of thier way to make us feel welcome and spoiled. Definitely would recommend this cute little cottage.

Lovely house, great location

This is a perfect place to stay for a couple. It's well-stocked with everything you need for a comfortable stay near Lambert's Cove Beach. When the sun is out, the plentiful windows and skylights help the house magically light up and showcase the wooded surroundings. The hosts are helpful and attentive but not at all intrusive. They leave lovely welcome gifts and lots of useful information. We really couldn't have had a nicer stay.

Cute cottage in the woods

Lovely guest house and hosts. Centrally located on the island. The house is down a private drive and very wooded, very quiet. The house has everything you need. The fresh flowers, wine, and chocolates along with a lovely card for my birthday were a very nice surprise. Definitely check out Lambert’s Cove Beach just down the road.

The Guest House

The Guest House is a perfect property for two people to “get away from it all.” It is comfortable, pretty, as well appointed as a five star hotel, and the host (Lisa) is gracious & welcoming. Every detail was handled beautifully and we definitely hope to return.

Wonderful, quiet retreat

We had a wonderful stay at the Guest House. The house is situated on a quiet private drive off of Lambert's Cove Road, a short walk from Lambert's Cove Beach, and a very short drive from downtown Vineyard Haven. The interior is modern with all the supplies you'll need for your stay. A parking and walk-in pass to Lambert's Cove Beach is included. Lisa was very easy to communicate with, and though we had no issues at all, was always available if we needed anything at all. We highly recommend the Guest House for anyone looking for a quiet and relaxing stay on the island.

Tisbury bliss

Our host was lovely & accommodating. She had a welcome box of chocolates, a welcome postcard & a notebook filled with activities for the island as well as passes to Lambert's cove (which is a private beach). You'll want to get out & explore if your new so it's nice to have options. While in house, our host had all our needs covered with premium amenities for an extended stay. The unit is beautifully done & well appointed. And our host was always accessible, even when our Tesla was low on electricity as we waited for an adapter. It was the little touches like that which helped make our stay wonderful. Thank you so much.

A standout cottage for two guests.

The cottage is immaculate. The on-site property owner makes sure of that. The interior spaces are sunlit with skylights, well-equipped with kitchen tools, nice towels and linens, and a comfortable bed. Fresh flowers were a bonus. We savored the quiet location, with its easy access to the almost-adjacent West Tisbury beach, its closeness to Middletown grocery etc., and easy drive to down-island shopping and restaurants. Highly tecommended!

Very nice well maintained and secluded place well located near the best beach

Very pleasant and suitable for a single person or couple. Within walking and cycling distance of Lambert Cove beach and various trails. Owned and maintained by a very nice and gracious couple who live next door Forest setting Place is well furnished and has all one would need

Enjoyed Grandma's Treehouse!

We spent such a relaxing time at this wonderful property, named Grandma's Treehouse! It is located amongst the trees (hence, the name) and provides a wonderful glimpse into the nature of Martha's Vineyard. The house is superbly outfitted and complimented by some of Grandma's art. Lisa (and Ivory) were very helpful through our stay. We look forward to returning for another stay soon!

Lovely cottage in the woods

The guest house is exactly as advertised. Light filled, charming, and perfect for a quiet getaway for 1 or 2 people. The house has everything you might need, including a spacious patio and grill for outdoor dining. Technically close enough to walk to Lambert’s Cove beach but much easier to drive (very easy to purchase a parking pass). Lambert’s Cove in our opinion is the best beach on the island so to have such easy access to it and be away from the crowds of the bigger towns was ideal & exactly what we were looking for. Lisa was extremely responsive and helpful, offering suggestions & island tips, and was thoughtful in how she appointed the cottage (she even provides beach chairs, umbrella and trolley). Overall it was a wonderful stay!
