Lovely 2-Week Stay
Our stay was relaxing and rejuvenating. It was the perfect location - about 30 to 60 minutes from downtown San Diego attractions, horse riding in Julian, and Disney in Anaheim. And we were within 15 minutes of grocery stores, restaurants, and even San Diego Safari Park!

Wonderful stay
My husband and I had a wonderful stay! The location for us near our family was great but the house itself was beyond our expectations. It was very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. The kitchen was well stocked as were the bathrooms and bedrooms. There were fire pits outside to enjoy the beautiful yard and view. We had zero issues from the moment we booked until we checked out. The hosts made it very easy. We will come back for a return visit.

Fabulous home!
Gorgeous property, amazing views and outdoor living space, large pool, in safe, quiet, walkable neighborhood. This home is architecturally beautiful, spacious and comfortably furnished. The kitchen is so thoughtfully outfitted- we were able to accommodate 11 easily for dinner one evening. Five-stars all the way! The hosts were very easy to communicate with. Thankful for a wonderful stay.

Three Generation Family Get-Away
We've stayed in a lot of rental homes while on vacation and this was one of our favorites. It was spacious and clean, with hands down, the best stocked kitchen I've seen in a rental. There were plenty of towels, extra bedding if needed and the washer and dryer came in handy after spending all day in the pool. The view from the property was incredible and it felt very private the way everything was laid out. Drinking coffee outside in the morning, watching the quail and the sunbathing lizards, all with a beautiful view of the lake was just the recharge we needed. We stayed with our adult children, their partners and our grandsons. Everyone enjoyed it. The beautiful nearby town of San Marcos was a quick trip for ice cream with the grands and a date night for their parents. I've already recommended this beautiful home to my friend for her annual sisters getaway. We look forward to getting back soon ourselves.

Amazing Family Vacation House
We chose this listing because It had everything we were looking for. The space, pool, the amazing views, and the location. The pictures you see online are what sold us but when you are actually here....wow! The house had everything we needed, the kitchen is large with all you need! From surround sound speakers to plenty of beach and bath towels. Peaceful area, plenty of outside seating, beautiful fire pit. We played corn hole all the time, which was a big hit. If we are ever back and need to rent a house, we will not even hesitate to use this listing again.

My family came for a wedding and it turned into a Fantastic vacation because of this property! Nothing but positives to say. Extremely well stocked, beautiful view, plenty of space, amazing communication with the owners. We heated the pool and it was well worth the extra cost.

Fantastic Vacation!
We had a great time during our stay! The house was extremely well kept, the view was breathtaking, and there was ample room for our family of 7 (ages 6 to 70). The hot tub and pool were awesome - and the rate to have the pool heated was very fair. We loved being close enough to swing up to Disneyland or head down to San Diego to catch a Padres game.

Another great stay!
This is our second stay here! We will be back! The home is exactly as listed. The location is amazing with fresh fruit growing on site! We used the hottub a ton and did also pay to have the pool heated. The neighborhood is safe and friendly and the home is wonderful. Communication with the host was great and we would highly recommend!

Why stay at a hotel?
We chose this home looking for accommodations for a wedding. We will never stay in a hotel again, this was such a great experience! The house was spacious, immaculate, and beautiful! The owners were easy to reach when we had a question. Very quiet neighborhood and in close proximity to hiking, stores and services. Highly recommend!

Love this Lake Getaway!
This amazing home sits perched with wonderful vistas of the lake and mountains, just tucked away with convenient access to North [San Diego] County freeways. The house is spacious, tastefully modern, immaculate and very well appointed to make our stay at this perfect retreat! Everything was furnished where we could enjoy a bbq poolside; to playing the keyboard & guitars in the library/music room; to relaxing in the TV/game area. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful, and the setting was private and incredibly relaxing. The owners are responsive and so courteous ---- would highly recommend this stunning property! <3

Amazing stay!
This vrbo rental is exactly as depicted, in fact the pictures don't do it justice. The view and surrounding areas are amazing. We thoroughly enjoyed the indoor/outdoor living. We had the pool heated and between that and the hottub were able to enjoy it, even in colder weather. The gas and regular fire pits were great additions and we loved enjoying the fresh oranges from the trees on the property! The home is very spacious and welll maintained and allowed us to all have our own space. Everything was communicated well and the owner was very responsive. We absolutely plan to stay here again! Thanks so much!

Impressive Residence with Stunning Lake View
A delightfully restful vacation characterized our stay in this lovely, comfortable and spacious home. Swimming in the pool and relaxing in the spa were highlights. Our eight year old granddaughter, who is an avid swimmer, had a terrific time. (Though the pool was perfect for us adults and granddaughter, I wouldn't recommend it for non-swimmers or toddlers). The immaculate house and kitchen were well stocked with everything we needed. The owners proved to be very helpful and responsive when we sought their assistance. A spectacular view of mountains surrounding Lake Hodges greeted us each day. We would highly recommend this rental.
