I recommend that all renters take the optional insurance that VRBO offers that will protect you if you need to cancel for any reason.

Newly renovated high-end studio beach cottage with beautiful views of the ocean. The perfect couples getaway. This cottage has four hundred square feet of living space and cathedral ceilings. It is open for Two guest. The cottage has a king size bed, sofa 75 inch TV.
All new appliances including dishwasher, washer and dryer. The photos and video say it all. The location of this property is it biggest asset situated right at the beach access and only about a five minute walk to restaurants, bars, ice cream parlors and shopping. There is so much to do that is so close to this location there is no property quite like it. YOUR PARKING SPOT IS BETWEEN THE COTTAGE AND THE BEACH ACCESS. DISREGARD THE NO PARKING SIGN THAT IS THERE SO NO ONE PARKS IN YOUR SPOT.
WHEN PARKING YOUR CAR IN DRIVEWAY PLEASE MOVE AS FAR FORWARD AS POSSIBLE. OCCATIONALY THERE WILL BE A SERVICE PERSON OR PROPETY MATAINCE PERSON WHO WILL PARK BEHIND YOU. THIS SERVICE PERSON WILL BE ON THE PROPERTY FOR A SHORT TIME AND WILL MOVE THERE VEHICLE IMMEDIATELY UPON REQUEST. The home is on the beach so It is important to keep all doors and windows closed so that bugs from outside do not enter the cottage. We spray the outside every two weeks to minimize there presence.
There are no linens for beds
You will need to to bring or rent from local linen company
I can provide you with companies that rent linens and towels in area.
You can also bring king size linens and towels if you do not want to rent.

Perfect Beach Bungalow

Whether staying for one night or an entire week this is the perfect escape. Prime location if you’re looking for stuff to do…. within walking distance to beach, coffee, dining and shopping. But if you just want to chill the layout of this house is so relaxing. Host is very attentive and accommodating. House was spotless clean. Definitely recommend and will use again.

Wife’s Birthday Weekend

We arrived to find a wonderful little place at the beach. Everything was just as it was described in the listing. This is a great spot for a couple looking for a getaway. It was very clean and communication between the owners were clear and to the point. Just make sure you take king sheets and towels with you because there isn’t any there. The weather was cold but my wife enjoyed her birthday getting at the beach.

This place is exactly as pictured. Very nicely decorated, had everything we needed, comfortable sleeping. We enjoyed our morning coffees and evening drinks on the porch. Short walk to the beach. We will return.

What was there not to love! Perfect cottage on the beach! Walking distance to restaurants/bars/shops! Driving distance to so many activities including ferries to take you to Cape Lookout and Shackelford Banks! We will definitely be returning!

Lovely, clean place, with a clever layout that makes great use of the space. Excellent location and well-equipped. Perfect for one or two people. Host is very responsive. This was a solo trip for me this time, but I'm already making plans to come back with my spouse.

Lovely stay close to beach

We enjoyed our day very much. It was very close to the beach and good proximity to restaurants. I do think they need to work on updating the shower floor is there were some black mold looking areas in the corners the shower curtain needs to be more updated. The cookware especially the frying pan needs replacing. A new paint job would be nice and it certain areas. And the blind needs to be fixed so it can go up to view the front of the street. rugs need replacing. We love the decor and the mermaid theme. Very nice!

Beautiful Studio w/Beach Access

Love the location and the amenities in this rental. You can tell someone put time and effort into picking nice finishes when designing this studio. It’s a bit warn, but it’s on the beach so I know the sand and salty air can accelerate the process. Location is absolutely perfect. Walkable to restaurants and bars, and of course it’s right on the beach (with a slight ocean view from the living room)! A couple of takeaways: - One of the living room blinds doesn’t raise up so you cannot see out that window. Bummer - Dishwasher felt loose so we didn’t use it (opted to hand wash). No biggie - This may be a one-off incident. There was a sewer smell that came from the paved area near the entrance stairs. We only smelled it on the first and last day of our stay. It attracted a lot of flies around that area. Not great but it wasn't in a place we would spend much time anyways.

Cute property with amazing location! Perfect for a couple. Can’t beat the proximity to the beach and nearby restaurants. Well appointed and it had everything you’d need and more, including a crockpot and washer/dryer! Loved the beachy decor and the pub chairs on the deck for watching the ocean. We’re already talking about a return trip!

Why they chose this property

We had vacationed many times near the ocean but after vacationing in an ocean front home in Atlantic Beach we new this was the only place we wanted to be. . You can walk only a few minutes from the home to fantastic ocean front restaurants, ice cream and shopping. We love to visit the historic town Beaufort which is a very short drive from our home. My wife children and I love to fish. We are now only steps away from the beach and a few minute drive to Atlantic Beach and Morehead City charter fishing. There is so much to do in Atlantic Beach and that fact had some influence on us buying this property. The Major influence was the home itself. The incredible time we spent relaxing on the porch and enjoying all the beach had to offer was the main reason we bought this property.
