Holiday on Henare, Olde Beach Waikanae.

Our holiday home is situated in a quiet street 5 minutes walk from the lovely safe Waikanae beach.
It has a fully fenced , private section with all day sun and off street parking.Bikes, boogie boards, and barbeque all available to use. Port-a-available.
It is open plan living, with a spacious kitchen, including a full oven and dishwasher.There is a heat pump. Complimentry tea and coffee.
FREE WIFI! Smart TV
The beach, cafes, bakery, tennis courts, golf course, children’s play area and a well stocked 4 Square all within walking distance.
Major attractions close by include: Southwards Car Museum, Otaki Factory outlet shops, excellent walking and biking trails, Nga Manu Nature Reserve, Queen Elizabeth Park and tram museum, and Kapiti Island Nature Reserve.

Short distance to wedding venue Sudbury at Te Horo.
Ruth Pretty kitchen shop and cafe also at Te Horo.

What a beautiful home

This place was great. Electric blankets, Ac, kitchen great showers. It was very home-feeling and welcoming. It was very clear that the owner cared about the guest staying in the home. From little things such as sugar being provided or some pens and a note pad. It was a beautiful home that felt safe to be in. Pictures provided are not misleading or glorifying, which provided us with a sense of trust in the owner. Thank you for making it such an enjoyable stay.

Great stay

Beautiful house with lots of room. Well equiped and plenty of extras for activities. Really impressed with the way we were treated after a bit of trouble getting over on the ferry. 10/10 stay for us 🙂

Wonderful house to accomidate five adults

Unfortunately our returns trip on the Blue Bridge was canceled.After ringing the owner she agreed we could stay another night. Thank you we loved staying in uour house.

Wonderful place for a group of us to connect and plan ahead for the year. Lots of space inside and out and very well equipped. Short walk to the olde Beach cafe for breakfast was the icing on the cake. Thanks for sharing your space with us :)

Beautiful property, impeccable vibes

We loved our overnight stay at this beautiful whare! There’s a very cute outdoor seating area, a great sun room for reading and relaxing, lots of sleeping areas so plenty of room for the whānau, and the hosts left behind lots of info about the area (food spots etc). We’re already planning our next stay :)

Beautiful stay

Property is really nice and well maintained. The house has open areas for being in groups and also separate areas for quiet time. Was lovely for a group of adults, but would suit family groups really well.

We had a group of five adults staying for one night only as we needed somewhere to rest after the All Blacks game in Wellington. We all wished we had stayed longer as we really enjoyed the short time we had together at Diane's property. It had everything we needed. Thank you for allowing us to check in earlier & for the efficient communication. We hope to stay again soon.

Not sure what title refers to, but Henare St Waikanae beach

We all thoroughly enjoyed the property, excellent.. The only thing remiss was the Microwave hadn't been cleaned and there was pool of pasta water? In the base.. After a good clean out it was fine. Otherwise all good!

Fantastic house

We stayed over night as we were attending a family wedding in the area. We wish we had longer there to enjoy the house a bit more. Such a great house in a great location. Hey Coastie just down the road is also worth a visit.
