Super cute house, very cozy. Beautiful bathroom and kitchen. Quick and easy communication from the property owners before the trip and for the check-in process. Loved the Ashland area. Overall highly recommend!
Great location and house for local Whistlestop Marathon
Great house and we were very comfortable and it was close enough to the downtown Ashland area so we could walk to the Whistlestop Marathon start and finish. The house was very comfortable and clean and well furnished.
The house was great! Cozy, immaculate and perfect for two couples. Close to Bayfield and Copper Falls. Easy to get to downtown restaurants. Check in/out was seamless and fast, responsive communication. We’ll be back!
This is a cute, cosy well appointed property, with everything you need. The beds were comfy, bathroom nicely set up with everything you needed. It was a short walk into town where there are shops and restaurants/bars. We could have done with an extra day to explore the area a bit more but the weather was kind which always helps. We would definitely stay here again and would have no hesitation to recommend to others!
The house is lovely! There was only one thing I would’ve liked and that would’ve been a darker curtain on the front bedroom door leading to the living room. I felt a little exposed. But otherwise, we were very comfortable.

We felt lucky to find this gem of a getaway to the south shore of Lake Superior in a quiet neighborhood a few blocks from Main Street. The town is historic, has beautiful mosaics and murals everywhere, and has an awesome co-op for grocery shopping. We loved it! The owners were very responsive and did an amazing job in remodeling the house. Everything we needed, nothing we didn't! Thank you!
This home was lovely. The space was compact but cozy and plenty of room for the two of us. The beds were SO comfortable, and the bathroom was roomy and well-appointed. The kitchen was fabulous - we lacked for nothing and cooked our meals at the house rather than going out. Loved the back deck and would have grilled had the weather behaved. We didn't use the basement, so no comments there. Would definitely recommend!
Nice property located in good neighborhood. Close to many restaurants, coffee shops, we ended up walking to everywhere we went in Ashland. Nicely stocked with all the essentials. Check in and out was super easy. Only issue my wife noticed was handles/bars in tub could use some cleaning, looked like it hadn't been done in a while. Other then that was just what we were looking for...if in area again would stay here without question.
overall, a very cute little house. Everything we needed for a comfortable and enjoyable star was included at the property. We were also impressed by the friendly and quiet neighborhood. Felt very secure and welcoming. The back deck area was wonderful on those cool mornings around 60F for sipping on a cup of coffee and watching the pigeons. The grill was great for grilling our chicken we had on day two of our stay. The only hiccup we had was low batteries for the remote controls for the TV's. But once we went for a battery run, they worked great. Super close to downtown and its conveniences.
We were up for the Fall Fest at Northland College and stayed in this renovated charming home in Ashland. It is near downtown and could walk to the downtown district. It was extremely clean and comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay.
This cute little cottage was perfect for our short stay on the South Shore. It was spotless and updated with any amenity you would need or want. The location is IDEAL! My only regret - I didn’t get to try the hammock seat/swing on the deck. I guess we’ll have to go back again!!

Very spacious. Only two of us stayed there, but easily could accommodate 4 or more if some are kids.
Very, very clean.
Please visit before going to the grocery store (we didn't). Many things we bought were already there in spades.
Centrally located to everything in Northern WI. I had a family reunion in Marengo. Visited other family members in Saxon. Went Blueberry picking in Washburn. Canoeing in Trego.
Would recommend this with many thumbs up!!
Me and my fiance spent our honeymoon in the Ashland/Apostle Islands area and this was a great house to come home to! Beautiful kitchen and a great porch to relax on.
