Ideal for winter and summer with its cosy wood fire, beautiful timber floors and romantic private alfresco claw foot bath either perched on the deck of your cottage or hidden in the gardens at the beautiful Summer House. Wth limitless hot water, candles and flowers it offers the perfect place to lie back, relax, romance and gaze at the stars. Luxurious beds, fine linen, feather duvets, cotton throws, bathrobes, bath and beach towels together with complimentary toiletries, fresh flowers, books and magazines complete your stay.

Peace, seclusion and tranquility abound - your own private and romantic alfresco claw foot bath to relax and romance under beautiful dark night skies; a private and beautiful river front with secluded swimming holes; a private boathouse with kayaks, canoes and fishing rods to borrow; 150 acres of beautiful pasture, native bush and magical glow worms to discover, and 5 acres sub-tropical gardens to wander and explore; and last but not least the, beautiful deserted sandy beaches a short paddle downstream at Takou Bay. Quiet serenity

My wife and I enjoyed our brief stay in the Summer Cottage. The accommodations were comfortable and the property was beautiful. We could have stayed a couple of more days and still not seen all there was to see. Anna our house was very attentive. I would highly recommend. Takou River Lodge.

Hidden paradise at Keri keri

I’m so happy we’ve found this place. My idea of the perfect break from work. Accommodation lovely, clean and comfortable with fireplace heating up the whole cottage. Even though the weather wasn’t perfect, we thoroughly enjoyed it and will definitely be back to enjoy kayaking down the river to the secluded beach and to do some fishing and enjoy the glow worms at night time. Thank you to the hosts for a great stay.

If you want relaxation then this is the place. Tranquil, quiet and a sanctuary of what the far north

Well laid out with everything you need. Short drive to amenities if you have forgotten anything. Would stay again.
