LAYZDAYZ your home away from home

LayzDayz, the name says it all and our reviews confirm this, so don't rely on the photos. Just sit back and relax in the sunroom while the kids enjoy themselves in the front garden This three bedroom house on Atua Street, with sleepout (which has three separate areas) is just around the corner from a beautiful, safe swimming beach and a short stroll to the cafes and dairy. We have several rackets available for those who wish to play tennis at the local courts, or bring the clubs and head across the road to play a round of golf. For those less energetic relax in the garden listening to the Tuis, have a game of petanque or read a book with a glass of wine and unwind. The Bach with all the comforts of home is open plan living, dining and kitchen with ranch sliders out to decking bathed in all day sun. You can even bring the family dog and walk on a dog friendly beach for miles.

Tariff is for 2 guests, extra guests $25/night . LINEN NOT INCLUDED.
Dogs allowed with prior approval and a $15/night charge applies.

7 night minimum over Christmas period.

Great family home
Family of 5 plus nana and there was plenty of room (we didn’t use the sleepout so could have fit a few more). Fantastic location, close to beach and shops. Would definitely recommend and would stay again.

House had everything you needed! Olive was quick to reply to messages and all went very smoothly. We had a very rainy weekend, but there was plenty of space for 8 adults and a dog. Very short walk to the beach.

Fantastic holiday
We just had a fantastic week in Waikanae at this lovely house. We had our dog and 5 year old son who loved the house and location. The property is 5min stroll to the beach (including a dog friendly beach), and about a 10min stroll to bakery/shop/fish and chips. On the days it was a little windy we loved heading to Waikanae pool which is a 5min drive away. The house is larger than expected, with three bedrooms in the main house and then a sleep out with another five beds and room for the kid/s to have some of their own place space. The main bathroom is large, with another shower and toilet near the entrance for easy washing off after a swim in the sea. The kitchen is well equipped and most nights we had a BBQ which is provided. Communication was easy and stressfree. We are already looking at future dates to book again!

Property was well suited to a family.
Property was well suited to a family. Our small girls (2 and 5) were very happy there. We were pleasantly surprised to find a second toilet and shower, as we had a member of the extended family with us. I can't think of a thing that the house lacked - it had all facilities and equipment needed for a pleasant holiday. The beach was very close and great for playing. We would be very keen to return.

We had a nice time here despite covid19 19. Although sleeps 10 theoretically ,it would be very crowded- I would not recommend more than 6 adults. Nice quiet street. Easy walk to the beach.
