Traditional bach in the old quieter part of Kinloch. It's only a 2 minute walk to the lake - 5 minutes walk to the dairy, cafe and marina - 10 minutes walk from the famous Jack Nicholas Golf course and cafe. All day sun. Plenty of room to play cricket or volleyball in the backyard. A large covered deck. Only 1 1/2 hours drive to the Chateau and ski-fields.
Kinloch hosts numerous walkways, reserves and tracks ideal for walks and bike rides that are accessible from the bach. The W2K mountain bike/walking trail begins in Kinloch through native bush providing spectacular views across Lake Taupo to the mountains of the Tongariro National Park. The Kawakawa track provides access to Kawakawa Bay otherwise accessible only by boat. Off that is the Otaketake–K2K Loop.
There's great trout fishing spots near Kinloch too - the marina provides easy boat launching.
