About this property

Lovely self contained studio

Welcome to Napier Baywatch Homestay.
We have a very comfortable and sunny self contained garden unit with Queen size bed and ensuite. Sky tv, internet access with own computer, tea and coffee facilities and small kitchenette with fridge and microwave.
The unit is in our garden but it is separate from our home to ensure your privacy. However, we are available for any local information or recommendations. Off street parking.
We are only a 10 minute walk to Ahuriri with all its restaurants and bars, and about 15 minutes into Napier City for some great shopping and Art Deco attractions. If you don't fancy walking back up the hill a taxi is about $10. It is a 5 min walk to the Botanical gardens and historical cemetery. We are also just a short drive (20mins) from the many wineries in the region. Further afield (40 mins) are the beautiful beaches of Waimarama and Ocean Beach. Or why not hire some bikes and explore some of the 180kms of cycle ways.

Great place
The host is fantastic going above and beyond to help out, even chauffeuring us around when we had car problems. The apartment echoed the sixties, but in a positive way. Everything worked and was in character with the area. We’d definitely stay there again.

Beautiful cottage in perfect Napier location
Trevor and Ann have created a beautiful cottage in the heart of Napier. It was so clean and comfortable with all the essentials for a stay. Trevor made me feel very welcome and gave me awesome local tips. The cottage is so close to everything. Will definitely be back!

A nice guest house behind the owners home.
This is a very nice efficiency located on hospital Hill. It offers a 10 to 15 minute walk into Napier and right next to the botanical park. The host were very friendly and helpful with suggesting things to do in the area.

Not too impressed with the place. Very dusty on the wooden curtains, bed not comfortable, felt the springs. Make sure you flush the toilet twice to stop the first flush. Host very nice and great views.

A very comfortable studio
We had a warm welcome from Trevor and he was very helpful with information about the locality. In addition there was a lot of printed information about pretty much everything that one might want to do. We stayed for 3 nights, very comfortably. A very relaxing environment and a very friendly duo of cats. There was a small hiccup with wifi but this was resolved within 24 h and all is now working very well. Thank you Trevor for your hospitality! .
