South exposure provides for all-day sun - perfect for relaxing in one of the many outdoor seating areas, or the massive screened-in Muskoka Room! Prime area for boating and enjoying the lake views - cruise over to Windermere House and treat yourself to sushi on the veranda!
PROPERTY
EVERGREEN - Follow the flagstone pathway past the tall trees down to the cottage entrance, and you will immediately fall in love with this property! Boasting unbeatable views of Lake Rosseau from every vantage point, this cottage was truly built with outdoor entertainment in mind. Equipped with a large, newly built "party dock" and plenty of outdoor furniture; a firepit with seating for 10; an outdoor shower and a hammock! The property also boasts three separate sleeping quarters -- the main cottage, the bunkie, and the boathouse. The waterfront area is unbeatable, with a sandy shallow walk-in and 5ft deep water at the end of the dock! South exposure brings all day sun to Evergreen, but the towering pine trees provide ample shade throughout the day for those who prefer to stay out of the sun. The property also comes with a Lilypad, 2 adult kayaks and a paddleboat! The most reliable Bell Internet can be accessed from the main cottage all the way to the boathouse.
INTERIOR
A true cottage feel. Featuring wood-paneled walls and multiple seating areas to choose from, including a huge screened-in Muskoka Room with an air-hockey table and dining for 10 overlooking the water! The open-concept main level is equipped with a comfortable living room and a large stone fireplace, a kitchen and pantry, and a separate dining area with 8 chairs. There are two bedrooms and one 3-piece bathroom located on the main level of the cottage, including a Queen bedroom and a bedroom with a Double and Single bed. There is one additional bedroom and powder room (2-pc bath) on the upper level of the main cottage, also equipped with a Queen and Single bed.
BUNKIE
Hidden behind the main cottage, the Bunkie is a perfect place for overflow guests! It is equipped with electricity, and two sets of bunk beds.
BOATHOUSE
The one-slip boathouse with upstairs living quarters provides another wonderful place to spend your days! Featuring a small kitchenette with a sink and two bar stools, a comfortable living area with a pull-out couch, an office, and a spacious bedroom with a King-size bed and sliding doors leading out to the deck! There is an additional 3-pc bathroom with a soaker tub located in the boathouse.

The linens and turnover fee is $840 per rental
The security deposit is 40% of the weekly rental rate for 1 week rentals and 25% of the weekly rental rate if the reservation is longer than 2 weeks. Other amounts could be considered on a one-off basis for Repeat Guests.

As a child, I grew up with the sandy beach of Lake Huron in my backyard. I went to university and settled in Toronto with my family and made my living selling computer software. I starting visiting Muskoka in the summertime and fell in love with the peacefulness and natural beauty of the surroundings. Shortly thereafter we bought a cottage, which was quite an investment, but my family has never regretted it!
Working full time however only allowed my family a 2 week vacation, so we all agreed that we would rent to cover our property expenses and to afford to take exotic family trips overseas. Renting our cottage has allowed my family to experience other special places, like Provence and Tuscany.
Despite the alarming storms that can rush in, Muskoka has a certain “joie de vivre” about it. Blue skies, gorgeous lakes, quaint villages and sunshine nearly everyday certainly helps keep a smile on everyone’s face. Over our years in Muskoka, I have met charming people who have also fallen in love with this magical part of Ontario and who have purchased beautiful cottage properties that they visit frequently. While they are away from Muskoka, I take excellent care of their homes and host their visitors who come from all over the world to enjoy this beautifully scenic Canadian location that is especially close to my heart.
