OVERALL HOME: With over 6625 sqft in living space, this log style two story home is one of the largest and nicest rental homes in all of Colorado. It is situated on over one acre natural lot with trees, rock outcroppings, and abundant wildlife. It is on a paved street and has a large paved circular driveway. Including the master suite, it features 8 bedrooms, 5 baths, 3 living/sitting areas, 2 fireplaces, outdoor Fire Pit, a game room, SHUFFLEBOARD TABLE, over 2400 sqft in decks, and yes… even a one-of-a-kind INDOOR BASKETBALL COURT!!!

THE VIEWS: The house is situated right at the base of the continental divide and is surrounded by panoramic views of Twin Sister's (13,000'+), Long's Peak (14'000'+), and the continental divide itself. Most of the view is of Rocky Mountain National Park peaks.

THE BEDDING SET-UP: Yes... eight bedrooms! Enough for everyone to have their own. And they are all very nice size...all larger than the average bedroom and all with larger than average closets. The bedrooms feature the following bedding set-ups all with themed décor that match native animals in the park including master(king), elk(king), bear(king), bear 1 (1 king) and crib, mountain lion(queen), trout(queen), moose(queen) and bunk room with two sets of bunk beds for a total of 18 beds.

THE MAIN LIVING AREA: The huge professional kitchen features granite counters, maple wood cabinets, double oven, professional series separate refrigerator and freezer, desk area with wireless internet, and a unique outdoor kitchen (10' by 10' upper deck with built-in 8ft stainless steel grill – just outside the main kitchen through glass French doors). The main living room features lots of open space with comfortable furniture, a billiards area, a nostalgic winter sports décor, and a large screen Samsung SmartTV, 2 gas fireplaces/200+ DVD library all built into a dramatic slate wall.

SPECIAL FEATURES: The over 2400 sqft+ in decks (three upper and two lower connected with a wood bridge) feature an 8 person hot tub, fire pit, outdoor furniture, and 2 picnic tables. Other features include a 2.5 story atrium with bear water fountain, a 2nd living room with fireplace, 5 bathrooms, and a two car garage.

THE KITCHEN: Extra large glass cooktop, double ovens, full size refrigerator, full size freezer, 2(TWO) dishwashers, garbage disposal, plenty of cookware utensils and dishes AND a large gas grill steps away on the deck that is on natural gas and you will not have to worry about it running out of propane!

INCREDIBLE MASTER SUITE: 1000 sqft master suite is It features the master bedroom (with king bed, built in TV, desk, sitting area, and 2.5 story ceiling), a deluxe wet bar (with granite counter, double sink, small fridge, and maple cabinets), an amazing master bathroom (with huge garden tub and large extended tiled area with 4 shower heads), and a private deck. Washer and dryer in master suite!

THE WILDLIFE: And despite the excellent all around qualities of the home, the best feature may just be the wildlife. Sited on the property have been coyotes, foxes, marmots, badgers, ground squirrels, black bears, and literally hundreds of birds and mule deer. And of course too numerous to mention... the herds of elk. As a matter of fact, over 50 elk were counted on the property at one time (actually multiple times!).

Perfect Family Gathering Location
This was exactly what we were looking for to get the family together and have enough space for everyone to be comfortable. The game room was good for both the kids and competitive adults. Enough space for everyone to either gather together in the large spaces or to escape to your own area of the house if you wanted. Will definitely consider another stay of the family decides to do another trip to Estes Park.

On the Doorstep of the Rocky Mountain National Park
We had an amazing time at this property. The location is perfect, just minutes away from the entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park and the charming town of Estes Park. The house itself is incredibly spacious, perfect for our large group. There was plenty of room for everyone to spread out and relax. The game room, the basketball court and the hot tub kept both kids and adults entertained, while the large deck offered stunning views of the National Park — the sunsets were breathtaking! One of the highlights of our stay was the wildlife. We were lucky enough to spot bobcats, deer, and elk right from the deck. We like to prepare our meals so we enjoyed the well-equipped and spacious kitchen, with a large dining table that served as our gathering place. It really felt like a home away from home! Overall, this property was everything we could have asked for. Whether you're looking for adventure or relaxation, this home has it all. We can't wait to return!

Fantastic family vacation experience!
We loved this home's location, views, spaciousness, and amenities! And Julie was a top-shelf owner/hostess—courteous, thorough, responsive, and hospitable. Couldn't ask for more. As semi-regular travelers to Estes Park we hope to be able to stay here again in the years to come. Truly first class!

Great Family Togetherness
We greatly enjoyed staying at the Park Entrance Lodge. The views were amazing and the home was wonderful! Every room was so nicely appointed and the decor and artwork made it so special. Every need was provided, with a well-appointed kitchen and well-supplied bathrooms. We had plenty of space to sleep, chill separately or be all together when we weren't out enjoying the RMNP or Estes. Our grandchildren enjoyed the game room and basketball court Julie was wonderful and responsive to any concern. We thank her for a wonderful time in her beautiful home!

Best Family Gathering Yet!
Our large family has been gathering for one-week vacation since 2019 and we all agreed that our stay at Park Entrance Lodge was the best yet! This large home provided all the necessities for all ages along with spaces to spread out as needed. Two dishwashers, two washer and dryers, ample bathrooms and great outdoor spaces. Everything was as described and the location adjacent to parks and town of Estes was absolutely perfect! We will be adding this to our "do again" list!

Annual Family Reunion
This was our second time staying at Park Entrance Lodge. As before the accommodations are exceptional. Juile is very good to work with and is always available if any questions were to arise. Everyone loves the incredible views of Longs Peak and the surrounding Rocky Mountain area. The lodge is easily accessible and near to all sorts of outdoor activities. Although there is amazing activities to do on site. The pool table, basketball court and hot tub are our favorites. Great place and good times for all!

Beautiful home for our family
We rented Park Entrance Lodge for my parents 65th anniversary. We had a large group there and this house was perfect. Mom and dad are in there upper 80s and they were able to get around the house easily. There was room enough for everyone and yet everyone could be together easily. The views are outstanding and we hang out on the deck quite often. And it was easy access to the park which was a huge Plus. And kudos to the cleaning staff as the house was immaculate when we showed up. Thanks to Julie and the team for making our stay there so wonderful.

Great location, kids enjoyed the game room. Refrigerator had been shut off, we had 13 the first week. It took 1 full week for ice machine to make enough ice, so needdless to say we had to buy multiple bags of ice to make drinks.

Family Reunion - 80th Birthday
We had 18 people stay in the house (all adults) with my mom, my brother's family, my sister's family and my family (and significant others). The house works great for the large number of people as well as the ability to have privacy if needed. We used the kitchen/living room area and pool table extensively. We also used the main deck for hours and hours each day (incredible view). The hot tub was also a hit. The location was outstanding. The house is only a couple of minutes from town. Also, it is within 20-30 minutes of hiking trailheads in RMNP. A++. Great house.

Awesome spot for a larger group
We had an awesome time at this cabin which was nestled in Estes park and a close drive to the national parks for some good hiking. Wildlife was all around and we would often see elk and deer in the back yard. The hot tub is amazing to use when it's cold out. The basketball court was so much fun to play in. We were able to cook large meals for the group thanks to the kitchen. Would certainly book again

We had a family of 10 and we all had an absolute blast in this beautiful home. There was such a great amount of space and everyone had their own rooms, which was fantastic. The pool table and living area were perfect and the home had plenty of things to do. Julie was fabulous with communication and assisted us anytime we had questions or needs and was always willing to help if needed. Highly recommend!

Best place in Estes!
We have been staying in Estes for years and this is the best place ever! Perfect for multi generational or multiple families. The kids had so much fun in the game room. My 80 year old mom bested some of them in basketball. Everyone had their own rooms which was nice. Even the semi sullen teens cheerfully gathered around the pool table in the main area. The best feature of all for the grownups is the deck with fire pit and unbelievable views of Long’s and RMNP, the ultimate spot for sunset happy hour. There is a resident bobcat living in the rocks nearby, and a giant bull elk relaxing next to the house each day. We can’t wait to come back.
