Kudos to Mock's Amelia Island! My Five Star Rating!

I contacted Mocks in early August hoping to make one last beach trip to Ocean Place for 2024. Although late in the process, Elisha and Darsey were able to reserve the dates I had in mind for late August and they found one of our favorite units still available. We enjoyed one of our best beach trips as the weather was perfect and with school back in session the week was easy. Kudos to Elisha and Darsey.

Family Beach Trip

Views are amazing! Sunrise every morning. Seating in living area was not very comfortable. Lighting was not great. Hard mattresses for those who like a firm mattress. Kitchen was well equipped. Some plasic cups for patio would be nice. Glassware was so nice . Thanks for a nice rental.

Awesome Views

Great condo!, with amazing views!, Events next door at the Ritz can get a little loud at night but we were treated to two fireworks shows during our stay. Mattress is little to firm in the Master BD, Condo could use a little updating and softer lighting.

Wonderful well stocked beautiful unit

Almost perfect vacation get away. Only two issues… the sliding doors need some kind of blinds or shades. Morning sun in kitchen blinds you. Also ocean Place needs to get some wooden slat walkway or something. The walkway is perfect but from the walkway through the dunes is “wicked”. The Ritz has cool slats to walk in Other than that, it is perfect

Enjoyed higher unit elevation with panoramic view. Recently renovated unit with a clean, modern look. Kitchen was well equipped. Good communication with the Mock's office. Ease of entry and check-in/check-out with electronic system. Would have appreciated additional sets of bath towels and more kitchen towels. Also pillow cases for extra bed pillows and plastic cups. Will consider renting the unit again!

Very Nice Stay

We enjoyed this condo very much! It was very spacious with high ceilings which made it feel even bigger. It was very clean and modern! The bed in the master was very comfortable! The only issues we had were with the keypad door lock being delayed sometimes and making it difficult to get in especially when you are in a hurry! Also the curtains in the master bedroom didn't open and close easily. Otherwise we loved it! We would definitely stay here again!

Our first time to Amelia Island and it is a true gem. This property is in the middle of the island, so a nice location. The condo is absolutely gorgeous! Made me want to go home and remodel. Our only issue, and this is just a personal preference, were the beds. They were the foam ones, and just too hard for our family. Wouldn't hesitate to rent here again, but would want a unit with different beds.

Beautiful Condo - Beautiful Views - Seamless Transaction with Mocks.

Very relaxing vacation on Amelia Island! Condo was very comfortable and clean. Kitchen is well stocked if you're eating in. Bed was the foam type and very firm. Found them a bit uncomfortable but just a personal preference. The proximity to the Ritz was a bonus. Enjoyed seeing the wedding and live entertainment events that were happening on the lawn adjacent to our balcony. Beach was amazing and quiet! Pool was also relaxing to sit by but very cold in April. It is not heated. Would not hesitate to return!! Thanks for a relaxing week!

A little Hell in a lot of Heaven

Property gorgeous, Breathtaking view from Patio and well run. However it was difficult to contact maintenance for a knocking problem in the water heater that annoyed us for 2/3 of our stay including overnight. Left message. Got no response. Hope they fix it before next renter of this otherwise perfect condo.

Nice Property...needs a few finishing touches

We've stayed at other properties in Ocean Place because we love the location. This property was, overall, very nice. We noticed a few quirks about the features of the property. None of them were bad enough to keep us from renting it again, but should be noted. The first issue was that it was clean for the most part. The cleaning crew missed some food debris and residue on the cooktop and counter next to it. The master bathroom had quite a bit of hair on the counter and floor. The two side chairs in the living room were not very comfortable and quite awkward to sit in. For this trip, it was just the two of us so we sat on the sofa. If we had more people with us, this would have been more of an issue. And lastly, the kitchen trash was out in the open and the can didn't have a lid. That seems odd to me if you are not going to have an in-cabinet trash area, you should have a lidded trash can. As I said earlier, none of these issues "ruined" our trip but I would make a few small changes in regards to what I mentioned and I think you would have an almost perfect rental! Management company was great and easy to work with since we booked this so last minute.

Love this condo!

We have been visiting Amelia Island, and using Mock Amelia Vacations, for a dozen years or more and this is our favorite condo thus far. We would definitely stay here again. Our only complaint is skimpy paper supplies. Two rolls of TP for a week's stay at a relatively costly property seems stingy to us, compared to the usual "pay-it-forward" mentality we typically experience at VRBO\condo rentals. A minor complaint? Perhaps but we like to leave the property (and supplies) better than we found it and we think that sentiment is typical among our community of vacationers.

Exceeded Our Expectations

After having stayed at the same Ocean Place condo for the past four years, my husband and I decided to change Units and selected Unit 22 based upon website photos. However, to our pleasant surprise, the photos only partly showed how wonderful this Unit really is and how tastefully and meticulously the Unit is decorated. Obviously, the owner skimmed on nothing as everything in the Unit was A+ caliber; thus, making it a very comfortable week's vacation. We're definitely looking forward to returning next summer.

Great Vacation Spot!

Absolutely stunning! We've stayed at Ocean Place for several years and this has been the loveliest of all, though we have thoroughly enjoyed each. Unit 22 looks like a brand new unit—the kitchen is just beautiful, well stocked, everything high quality. The view of the ocean and sand dunes is breathtaking, and as a bonus, you can even see the outdoor weddings at the Ritz Carlton next door.

2022 Week at the Beach
