Come and share our home. Three hours and forty five minutes from Auckland and only one hundred meters from the sea. This gives it a nice view, minimal wind, and the possibility of sun on any day of the year. Sit outside in comfort in winter or summer. It's a two-storey house with direct access to Hihi Beach. We have three bedrooms and can readily sleep 6 people in comfort. We have changed the bedroom arrangement. New photos by mid August.
It is a large home, with a master bedroom and living area upstairs, an open-plan lounge, dining and kitchen, all with different views of sea and mountains. Watch the sun rise at breakfast and see it set in the evening. A large deck upstairs facing north-west, with outdoor furniture and a BBQ available downstairs.
We will provide six towels, t-towels, blankets and duvet covers. We have some linen available, but ideally you will bring your own sheets, pillow cases and towels.
We also have a selection of games and DVD's for all ages. We have free-view TV and you can bring your own SKY decoder for longer stays.
Hihi is a wonderful family holiday location with a safe swimming beach and a boat ramp. Great for sailing, kayaking, diving and fishing.
There is a golf course 15 minutes away and two more within 40 minutes.
Hihi is located just 10 minutes from Mangonui with its restaurants, cafes and shops. It’s also a great place to fish from the wharf at certain times of the tide.
If you enjoy mountain biking and kayaking there are interesting places to explore. Just discuss this before you move in. Our family are keen on sports so we can give you many suggestions on how to make good use of the area for biking, running and fishing. We might even tell you some great fishing spots!
We are trying to build a small regular group of families to share our place. That way we can offer more in confidence.
