Beautiful cabin but missing some amenities i would like to see.
The cabin is beautuful and very fun for the family and kids. The owners are The only things that i personally would recommend is the beds are super firm wirh thinner blankets, hot
We really enjoyed this cabin, and all of the patio furniture was clean! The swing was a favorite. My reason for 4 stars and not 5- Maintenance entered the cabin while we were out (without notice or acknowledgment) and changed lightbulbs in the chandelier, and it tripped the hot tub which took an entire day to reheat. The two doors into the cabin, and the two windows looking into the loft don’t have blinds/coverings and with the other cabin so close we had to be careful when changing and getting dressed.
This cabin is in a great location. Easy access to main roads and right around the corner from restaurants that served good tasting food . Kitchen is lovely and fully stocked up with tools and appliances you might need from baking to grilling. The owners thought of every detail. They have a Blackstone wich we really enjoyed cooking in.
Description of the cabin was accurate, other than the hockey table/ pool table where not able to be played because the previous renters broke it. The arcade game was fun even though the player 2 was broken.
Everything was nice and clean and very inviting. Close to attractions. The owners were very responsive and apologized for the games that were not working. Overall it was a great experience and a lot of fun!
Cabin is exactly as described and was wonderful. It is very clean, nicely appointed and near great restaurants and lake activities. Would definitely stay here again
This was a great location and the property managers were on top of everything !!! The only thing I wish the jets would have worked in our bathroom but other than that everything was great and peaceful!!
This property is both beautiful and feels very private. The large front windows overlook a lovely pond and fountian and the secluded back has a small seasonal creek. It is surrounded by tall trees and wildlife (the owners even provided some deer corn!) Inside is beautifful with a smart layout and every amenity you could want - way too many to list! The furniture including beds were comfortable and the decor is elegant yet rustic enough to give you a true cabin feel. We couldnt figure out how to light one of the multiple fireplaces and the owners John & Lisa were quick to get us help and get it lit for us. They were so friendly and responsive in all of their communications. My only regret was that we had to leave but we will definately be back! There are a lot of cabins in this area and if you are torn between several options- I promise you should pick this one! You will be absolutely thrilled and glad you did!
Beautiful cabin with ALL the amenities. Owners are wonderful and responded VERY quickly to my questions. Our family loved the cabin and enjoyed our stay very much. Our boys all agreed...BEST Christmas EVER!
Very prompt communication from very beginning. Property is beautiful and well stocked with supplies. Boys had the best time in loft with the variety of games then off to roast marshmallows at the firepit. Husband and I enjoyed the hot tub and laying back in the saucer swings watching the stars. Cherry on top was being able to have our furbabies with us as well. Although you wouldnt have guessed this is a pet friendly home because it was so clean.
We will definitely be staying here again!
Beautiful property. The perfect location. It had everything we needed as a family and our dogs loved it as well. The kids absolutely loved the upstairs game area and decorations.
Loved our stay here! The owners were quick to communicate and fix any small issue we had. It was a great place to unplug and getaway. The extra amenities like indoor and outdoor games and hot tub were perfect for both the rainy days and sunny weather!
The location and layout of this house is as good as it gets. Our boys loved the bunk room with air hockey and video games. The owners are fantastic to work with and over delivered on all expectations! We will be back in the summer.
We had a great stay at this property! Was honestly one of the best stocked cabins we have stayed in. Just fyi - the only dining table is outside on the deck - so that could be a problem if the weather is not ideal. There are 5 barstools and 3 couches inside though. Highly recommend!
Had a great time...cabin was wonderful and very pretty....easy access to most everything within just a short drive....Host have and continue to be very friendly and quick to respond to and questions....kids and well all of us enjoyed the loft with pool table and air hockey table...thank you guys so much
Came to Broken Bow last minute and found this cabin. Glad we did. Everything went perfect from check in to check out. Beds comfy, kitchen stocked. I brought my boat and it was easy parking. If you’ve ever VRBO’d when bringing your own boat you know some places just don’t work for a boat. This was easy.
The house was amazing! Peaceful and clean! Had everything we needed and more!

About the host

Our family has lived in the Dallas area since 2011. We have 3 children and 2 dogs that love adventure and travel! We fell in love with Broken Bow on a weekend getaway. Our cabin is owner managed. We stay in our cabin every few weeks to ensure that everything is in perfect order for you to feel at home (and because we love the cabin too:). Making sure that our guests have a wonderful time at our cabin was very important to us and we felt the best way to make that happen is by managing it ourselves. We have an amazing local housekeeping and maintenance team that makes it all possible! We welcome questions and strive to respond to you weekends, evenings, whenever you need something during your stay.
Why they chose this property
We love to travel with friends and family. We have made wonderful memories with extended family and friends on weekend trips to get away from it all. The cul-de-sac is private and safe for our pets and children to play. The road into our neighborhood is paved. We have plenty of parking for several cars/boats/trailers. We love the privacy of our wooded neighborhood but the proximity of everything in Hochatown and Beavers Bend just moments away.
What makes this property unique
We manage the cabin ourselves and enjoy answering questions about the cabin or the local area and activities. We have an amazing maintenance and housekeeping team local to Hochatown that is available to help out tenants with anything that comes up during your stay!
