Our holiday home sleeps six. It has comfy sofas and outdoor living that was built for relaxing. There is a log burner fireplace, a spa pool, wi-fi, a DVD library and a well stocked bookcase. The house has a HRV home ventilation system installed. Bach Number Twelve is a great spot for you to relax with your family and friends, no matter what the weather is.
Walk down to the beautiful bay for all tide swimming, or up to the General Store for the morning paper. The region offers wonderful coastline, wineries and eateries. Lonely Planet’s latest edition of the NZ travel guide says "Leigh – applauded for its picturesque harbour dotted with fishing boats and a decent swimming beach at Matheson Bay."
Approximately 1 hour's drive north of the Auckland Harbour Bridge and 90min/100kms from Auckland Airport.
All pillows, duvets, blankets and even hot water bottles are here. Please bring your own bed-sheets, towels and tea-towels.
For young children, a highchair, a portacot, change mat and mountain buggy are available on inquiry. The deck is gated for children's safety.
A dinghy is available to use, which is kept down at the bay. (There are four life-jackets: two adult, one child medium and one child small.)

There is a compulsory cleaning fee of $80 added to the rental.

No parties please, and 6 people max to stay, as the bach is on a rain water tank system and a septic tank.
