About this property

The Boat House by Whangamata Marina

Modern two bedroom unit located just across the causeway from the fabulous new Whangamata Marina.
NOTE: Under Kiwi bach tradition you are expected to: Clean the house and do the dishes before you leave please remove all rubbish from the property so the bach is left as you found it. Bring your own linen (towels/sheets/tea towels);
A short stroll to Moana Point Reserve, 10 minute walk to town or 5 minute drive to the popular surf beach.
The unit features an open plan kitchen, dining and lounge area which opens out onto a shade sail covered BBQ area.

The unit is complete with all necessities, including
-new hooded BBQ
-fridge:/freezer
-electric frying pan
- microwave
- hot plate and small convection oven
- washing machine and small clothes line iron and ironing board
- toaster, kettle, plates and cutlery
- puzzles and board games

Just bring your own linen i.e sheets pillow cases towels bath mat and tea towel. Main bedroom has queen size bed and second bedroom has a single bed and a set of bunks.

Parking for two vehicles, unfortunately not suitable for a boat trailer.

We found out there is no hot water in the shower that night. The owner said the gas bottle they use to heat water probably runs out which was the case. We have to replace it the next morning with the spare bottle outside. For future tenants be sure to run the hot water when you arrive to check it is available. Better if the host can do it also before the guests arrive. We also have to ring the host for the address. It's not on the website.

Great location with the reserve across the road to walk your fur baby but its on the main road into town so traffic noise, apart from that great stay.

Bright sunny place to relax
The place was a good clean place with everything you need. Upgrade better quality beds, lounge suite slightly higher because was hard for us two older people getting up out of it lol. Clean large bathroom etc. Steep driveway parking.Good for a young family.Over all in a great place great price for what's there.Happy to stay again. Thanks

SO GOOD
Such a wonderful stay. Everything we needed as a whānau of 5 plus our dog. Clean and tidy plus roomy! Super comfortable beds too. Literally everything we needed. Close walk to the harbour and. 2 minute drive to town. Such a lovely host too. We will be back!

Functional, tidy, huge ant issue.Great I could take our dog but there was no secure outside area so when we went out she had to be shut inside. Got very hot inside. Fan did not work.Next to a very noisy main busy road. There is no hob or oven, bbq was poor. Cooking was an issue.
