About this property

Modernised Kiwi Bach with large sunny deck

Palm Beach is a lovely Kiwi bach located within the golden circle of Mangawhai Heads.

Situated on a private, open grassed section, there is a large sheltered deck ideally suited to outdoor entertaining, gas BBQ and outside furniture are also included. You'll find a hot outdoor shower out back too.

Recently refurbished with new windows throughout, a new kitchen (with dishwasher), bathroom, heat pump and fully insulated.

The Bach has 2 bedrooms - 1 room with a queen bed and a second room with 2 x long single beds. We have airbeds (in the hot water cupboard) which can be used in the lounge, or there is plenty of space for tents.

The bach has wifi and a smart TV (plus Chromecast) and 2 outdoor heaters which are perfect for enjoying the deck in the cooler evenings.

It's a 5min walk down to the estuary and a short drive to the ocean beach if you are looking for some waves. It's also within walking distance to the shops, cafes and the golf course.

There is plenty to do in and around Mangawhai, with fishing, diving, golf, surfing, sailing, water sports, walks and easy travel to Waipu Cove, Langs or Te Arai Point.

It's a wonderful family bach with an amazing relaxing vibe, and we hope you enjoy as much as we do!

Great location for exploring Mangawhai Heads
We had a lovely couple of days at this property with our young family. The house was well appointed and had everything we needed, and was such a great location to be able to pop down to the estuary with the kids or along to the little town for a meal.

Awesome wee bach
Well presented, renovated bach, complete with old board games and sheltered private deck out the back. Kitchen and bathroom areas all updated, couple of superficial external areas look still to be finished, but didn't detract from anything. Host was really responsive. Good affordable option for small crew.

Lovely little bach with a backyard porch that gets loads of afternoon sun, a 5 minute drive from an absolutely spectacular (and dog-friendly) beach. James was a prompt and helpful communicator. Loved it here.

Fantastic bach with gorgeous renovations. Loved the location to stroll to the estuary and around to Picnic bay. Outdoor deck is great and an outdoor shower to use after the beach.

We absolutely loved this property. It was all beautifully renovated, it had everything you would need and the deck outside was a pleasure to sit on looking at the native bush. It was great to be able to bring our dog and we would definitely stay again.

Beaut bach. Slippery tiles on entry comong in on a rainy afternoon. Only comment would be the lack of linen makes it hard for overseas visitors.
