About this property

Hosts on the Coast Wahi Beach Home by the Sea

This comfortable bach in Waihi Beach has everything you need to make your holiday complete. It's a short walk to the stunning Wahi Beach and a wide choice of food outlets.
There are hardwood floors throughout adding to the warmth of the home. The living areas are open-plan with comfortable seating and a smart TV. The dining area has a bar leaner with bar stools. The kitchen is fully equipped with a dishwasher, oven microwave, and everything you need to cook up a storm. The home has a heat pump to keep the home warm and cosy for winter escapes, or cool for summer getaways. There are three bedrooms each with queen-sized beds. The bathroom has a toilet, shower, basin, fantastic storage, and the washing machine is located here. Outside there is a covered deck with outdoor tables and chairs and a BBQ with lighting around the deck. The area is fully fenced with a great lawn area. Small dogs are welcome for a small fee, and please respect the home and make sure to clean up after your furry friend. You will also find an outdoor hot/cold shower so after a day on the beach you can wash off or cool down sandy bodies. There is parking for a car and boat on the grass behind the gate.

Coastal Retreat is ready to make your holiday with family or friends a special break while making amazing memories. And even more special is that you can bring your little four-legged mate with you!

Waihi Beach is a popular spot with boutique shops and eateries. The beach is very safe for surfing, swimming, or fishing. If you feel like a walk then there are coastal trails to Orokawa Bay, Humunga Bay, and Anzac Bay. Along the way, you will see waterfalls, headlands, and historical sites. Waihi is famous for Gold Mining, so why not head to the Wahi Discovery Centre for some insight into the gold era, or have a nosy at the Waihi Arts Centre & Museum.
If you want to keep the kids entertained why not try the Goldfields Railway & Hauraki trail. Take a train ride and explore the Karangahake Gorge.
For those of you who enjoy the arts take a look at the Waikino Victoria Battery & Mosaic Garden. The Waihi Lavender farm is close by as well.
If you enjoy a round of golf, then pack your clubs as Waihi has a beautifully maintained golf course. For the boaties, there are several ramps available. The safest one to use is at the Bowentown Boating & Sport Fishing Club. The southern-most ramp is open to non-members. There is a charge to use the ramp so please check current pricing. The 2 other ramps that are available are sandy and can be quite soft, so smaller vessels are best launched from here i.e jet skis.
