Rose Cottage

This delightful cottage is everything that makes arrowtown so special.

Spacious yet cosy and steeped in history. All modern conveniences in a great location. Part of this cottage was bought down from Mace Town, a historic mining village, extended and modernisd but retaining touchs of history throughout.

Spacious inside there are three bedrooms (main with ensuite) a family bathroom, open plan living, kitchen and a double carport.
Three sets of French doors, one from the kitchen and two others from the living room lead to a sun soaked and sheltered deck creating another living space for outdoor dining and end of day relaxing. The section is fenced and the house has a great location in the heart of Arrowtown.

The property has a wood fire, heatpump and nightstore to keep the property warm in the winter.

Arrowtown is central to many ski fields and only 15 minutes drive to the Queenstown airport. Come and enjoy the different seasons in Arrowtown. Always something going on in and around the area.

We had a great time staying at Rose Cottage mixing in some snowboarding and sightseeing. Arrowtown is a great place to base yourself if you want to visit the ski fields or just chill out.

Amazing little house. Jane was very accommodating. So cozy and great place to stay after a days skiing. Only down side would be the bedrooms could benefit from having a heater in them.

This was a Lovely Character Cottage that fits well into this fantastic Town of Arrowtown. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, very comfortable and would recommend it to anyone.

Lovely cottage in Arrowtown
2 set of friends stayed, and the layout of the cottage was great. The cottage was lovely but special note of the renovated bathrooms which were very good. About a 15-20 minute walk into the shops and restaurants but a nice walk especially with the beautiful autumn trees to enjoy.

Long weekend in Rose Cottage
Beautiful garden, colourfully flowering, sunny terrace perfect for breakfast. Good layout of the house, the ensuite bathroom was a bonus for our family constellation and the kitchen was good for cooking. We would be happy to stay here again when we visit Arrowtown.

Great stay
Lovely and larger than expected, perfect location and loved the dishwasher and ease of the heat pump, it kept us cozy. Shame the DVD player didn't work as there were some good movies in the cabinet. Also could have done with an extra roll of TP or 2 as there was only what was on the holder when we arrived. Overall lovely, clean and cozy, we would stay again.

Relaxing in Arrowtown
Arrowtown is small, historic and lovely with great restaurants. We enjoyed being near the river and hiking trails. The Bee bus between Arrowtown & Queenstown was convenient , inexpensive and we could avoid driving thru traffic & finding parking in QT. We enjoyed the cozy wood burning stove on cool evenings and a roomy kitchen when we cooked there.

Christmas family getaway
Property is aging and is in need of some TLC. Holes in walls that haven't been repaired. Painting on exterior overdue, Garden though pretty overgrown. Broken blind in bedroom. Disappointed in property for the price that we paid.
