About this property

Tranquil, private guest accommodation in beautiful garden setting

Ryland Estate is a lovely tranquil setting for a stay amongst our beautiful gardens and stone-fruit orchard. Our two bedroom barn loft apartment is both peaceful and private; features comfortable queen-sized beds and crisp linen; and comes with a complimentary bottle of Marlborough wine. Great walks are available around neighbouring vineyards and along river trails. Many of the district's well-known cellar doors and restaurants are a few minutes walk or bike ride away. Bicycles are available for rental close by.
Special conditions:
Accommodation rates are determined by number of occupants, based on the assumption that two occupants will share the same bedroom. If separate bedrooms are required, the booking rate for three (3) occupants will apply.
Access to the apartment is via an internal staircase only, so may not be suited to people with mobility restrictions.
Smoking allowed outside only.

A beautiful and serene setting
Excellent central and peaceful location in renwick - very handy to river trail and swimming holes plus vineyards and the vintner village. Welcoming and accommodating hosts whose local tips were much appreciated

Very comfortable loft equiped with all the necessary amenities (and more).
Very comfortable loft equiped with all the necessary amenities (and more). The two king size beds are very comfortable. Kitchen was nicely stocked with fresh coffee, fruit and breakfast items as bacon and eggs. Location is perfect. Nice and quiet next to the river for a good night rest and right on the "Golden Mile" for visiting winehouses.

Perfect location, right in the heart of the famous Marlborough wineries (the Sauvignon Blanc capital of the world!). The estate itself is a functioning fruit orchard and we were able to purchase delicious fresh fruit straight off the trees. Convenient access to the wineries, to the Queen Charlotte Sound, etc. The property is also adjacent to the Wairau River and you can go for walks in either direction on a ridge that runs alongside the river.

Ryland Estate is situated in a picturesque, established-garden setting, looking out over adjacent vineyards with the Richmond Ranges forming a backdrop to its gardens. It sits in the heart of Marlborough wine country with numerous wineries and restaurants nearby, and on the edge of the Wairau River with its walking and cycling trails.

Ryland Estate is a tranquil and private retreat, with expansive gardens which guests are encouraged to explore and enjoy. The guest apartment has recently undergone renovations and provides a comfortable and quiet escape from hectic city life.
