Set in Paekakariki Village. 2 Minutes to surf beach which is patrolled in summer. 2 minutes to Queen Elizabeth Park for walking cycling and picnics.
The Village Centre has a Cafe and Deli, a general store, green grocer and Bar/Restaurant . Tennis Court (Free entry)The spectacular escarpment track is 10 minutes from the village. Fishermans Table Restaurant is 3 minutes drive south.
In the wider Kapiti Coast area:
Kapiti Island Sanctuary (prior bookings required) Nga Manu Bird Sancuary in Waikanae. Tararua tramping. Tram Museum Golf courses at Paraparaumu and Waikanae. Paraparaumu Shopping Mall. Southwards Car Museum and much more.

Relax at the beach
A lovely stay at this property which has a beach vibe. Very well appointed in terms of its facilities and care. Only a block from the beach so handy for walking and going into the village. Very welcoming and helpful hosts - the railway station pick-up was most appreciated.

Awesome is the best way to describe the experience, however due to my height and size I found the toilet awkward and the bed didn't suit me at all,I couldn't wait to get home for a proper sleep. Everything else was Amazing and suited me well for my 4 night stay, Loved having a oven as I love to cook and went prepared to do so..

Could not have picked a better spot
If you are looking for a place to stay in the area and this is available, then look no further! The apartment has great views, just a short walk from the endless beach and extremely friendly hosts. It is a 20 walk to the town center (or 5 min more along the beach). I was here by myself after a work trip, but it would have been great to stay here with the family. Nice living room with dining table, a well equipped kitchen and a spacious bedroom. Can’t recommend this more!

This apartment felt like a warm hug. As it was my first time to Wellington and the Kapiti region I must say, I definitely fell in love with this place and the apartment definitely contributed to this. The place itself offers so much comfort, its humble and has a perfect layout including great views of kapiti and shady Pohutukawa. One of the best stays Ive had since using bookabach!

The property was very well furnished, and our expectations were exceeded. The only set back for us was having to climb stairs, as we both have sore legs. However my sons helped us carry our luggage in and out. Once we were in the apartment we were extremely comfortable.

A wonderful space
The space is very private - up some stairs with its own entry. It was beautifully decorated and set up. Everything we needed was available and was in a sensible spot. The hosts have gone above and beyond in setting up this spot and I can’t recommend it enough :-)
