The cottage was lovely and had everything we needed. Breakfast supplies were great and communication with Kim was prompt and helpful.
Would love to come back one day.
Lovely cottage set next to vines in a very quiet area. Walking distance to many wineries and a short drive to the township.
The cottage had all the essentials including a very generous breakfast, with fresh eggs, homemade jam and more. The kitchen was very well equipped and eco friendly. Plenty of charging stations for electronics, comfortable beds and enough room for our party of 5. The annexed cottage is very comfortable and spacious.
Kim is very responsive and made us feel at home.
The photos don’t do this cottage justice. Highly recommended.
Dara Cottage is a quiet, beautifully restored and superbly equipped cottage ideal for a family. It’s far enough from the road for children but just a short walk to the nearest restaurant. Everything was too notch and we felt very welcomed with farm eggs and home made jam. Kim even offered us a tour of the vineyard. We had a fabulous time!
We had an incredible 3 night stay at Dara cottage. Beautifully clean, everything you need and lovely touches for example home made plum jam, fresh eggs, muesli, toast and an abundance of fruit. Dara cottage is perfectly situated to explore the area,
I seriously can’t get over how perfect this place was. The photos really don’t do it justice. One of the bedrooms is seperate to the main house, so it’s great if you want a bit of privacy away from others. The wooden panelling inside is stunning and there’s a reading nook in the roof with window! Lots of trees with shade, and the stars are almost magical, especially if you’re a city person like me.
The area is quiet and peaceful and so lovely. Owner’s right next door but they do their own thing and will help out with any questions if you have them. Couldn’t ask for better.
I would love to go back one day! I recommend this place to everyone.
A wonderful relaxing weekend away in this well appointed and tasteful cottage. The views and garden make this a real retreat. Close to the many attractions that Martinborough has to offer. Kim, the host, made sure that our stay was everything we had hoped for. Would highly recommend.
Our 2nd time at Dara Cottage, and it was just as special as the first time! The hosts do such a good job at making it a memorable stay. The cottage is super clean and tidy, and well set up for all ages.
We will definitely come back again, and again, and again!
Dara cottage was warm comfortable had everything we needed. A great location. Kim was great to deal with very helpful. I would definitely recommend staying here. Thank you for a wonderful weekend
A private and peaceful location, when we visited at Easter.
One of the cleanest, best presented and equiped stays we have had. The main cottage is well laid out and the separate bedroom worked well for our family. Windfall feijoa's a real treat.
An amazing place in a beautiful settings. We loved it so much and special thank you for letting us have a few friends over for a birthday party. Thank you!
Lovely, clean property and extremely well equipped. Gorgeous setting, easy to find. Owner even supplied us with fresh eggs, bacon, bread, milk and ice on arrival. Welcomed us personally with recommendations for dining and excursions. As a bonus his lovely pet dog Moko visited us every night.
We both very much enjoyed our two night stay at Dara Cottage with all the extras provided. The breakfast provisions were excellent. The fire warmed the cottage which was so enjoyed and the fire and kindling wood were well supplied. The beds were very comfortable with beautiful linen.
Met the friendly rooster and his henny penny girls .
Would highly recommend this beautiful little cottage to enjoy the surroundings, views of the hills and just totally relax.
Am most certainly going to go back again very soon.
We had a very pleasant stay. The layout is perfect for a holiday house, ideally located close to the main vineyards.
The sky at night is amazing and mornings in the fog and among birds give you a very peaceful feeling.
We definitely loved and recommend it.
Right from the moment we drove into the driveway we knew it was going to be a special few days in Martinborough. The owners had thought of everything and provided fresh eggs, milk bread, and even plums straight out of the orchard. The garden in the back was perfect for our toddler to run around. The cottage was a perfect 5 minute bike ride to the town centre. We will be back for sure!!
We stayed the weekend and totally enjoyed the cottage as the weather wasn't so nice. Plenty to keep us amused. Nice brekkie too. Many thanks. Would happily return.
We enjoyed our stay at Dara Cottage which is in a nice setting and a short drive or walk from Martinborough. The cottage was clean and comfortable and suited our needs well. The hosts were great to deal with and very welcoming.
