RECENTLY REMODLED, - This unit is the large two-bedroom, two bath Condominium DIRECTLY ON THE BEACH. Master Bedroom view is looking at the gorgeous ocean. This second floor unit; Unit 213; at Sterling Sands Resort has NEW KITCHEN, BATHROOMS AND BEDROOMS. SEE BRAND NEW PHOTOS . You are steps away from the gorgeous white sand.

Sterling Sands is an 8 story, 112 unit complex built in 1995 and is one of the most desired buildings in the Destin area. It is a mid-sized building with all of the amenities and is close to everything that is 'Destin'.

This gorgeous Condo is decorated and equipped with everything you may need! The kitchen is fully equipped and features stainless steel appliances, granite countertops with an extra deep sink and eat-in bar. Our dining area will seat six comfortably and there is also a wet bar in the family room with an under-counter wine & beverage cooler for storing those extra beverages. The beautiful furnishings are brand new as of THIS YEAR as are all of the bedding and window treatments with blackout lining. The den features a leather pull out Queen sofa bed along with 2 comfy chairs, all with a panoramic view of the Gulf. The family room has a 55' flat screen with surround sound that plays all your DVD's, CD's, radio and IPod/MP3's.

The master bedroom has a king size sleigh bed with a new, top of the line mattress, chest, and a huge walk in closet. There is also a 50' flat screen with DVD for your enjoyment. The huge master bath has a jacuzzi tub, walk-in shower and extra dressing area just outside the bathroom. The guest bedroom has a brand new King bed & mattress with plenty of room for a portable baby bed if needed. It also has a 42" flat screen TV.

Beachside service is included with your stay; that is a savings of $250/week

If you are looking for other things to do, Destin offers endless restaurant choices for casual and fine dining. For the shopping enthusiast, we are minutes away from Silver Sands Outlet Mall and Destin Commons which features the Bass Pro Shop. Golfers in the family are also included as there are several championship courses within a few miles, including Kelly Plantation and Indian Bayou. The Sandestin resort area, which is eight miles away, is home to the annual Boeing Open.

Fantastic Stay- Beautiful Condo & Excellent Host!

Our stay in Destin was absolutely wonderful! The unit was beautiful, well-maintained and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Communication with the owner was prompt and incredibly helpful—he went above and beyond to accommodate our changes and even offered flexibility with our checkout, which we truly appreciated.The smaller resort was a breath of fresh air, providing a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. The quick access to the beach was a lifesaver with the kids, making our beach days stress-free. The heated pool and hot tub were also well-maintained and never overcrowded, which was a huge plus.Overall, this was one of our best VRBO experiences, and we would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommend!

Spring Break Getaway

Rick's place is immaculate and up to date. Perfect place to watch the dolphins on the balcony. Easy access to the beach and pool. Very peaceful and quiet place.

I have been staying at this property for many years. They have really made some nice improvements on the building and pool area and the landscaping. The condo we stayed in had also done some remodeling. This property is the best location and has great beach umbrella guys!

Location location location!!

Can't beat the views and location! The condo has everything you need and is beautiful. We took advantage of the short beach walk to The Back Porch.....I think we were there about every day. Definitely would stay here again.

Amazing

This was our first time to Destin and Ricks condo did not disappoint. Pictures do not do it justice. Perfect location with direct beach access. Property well kept and with amenities. For a family of 5 with small kids this was perfect. We were able to cook breakfast and enjoy beach with included beach services. Then come make lunch and head straight back to the beach. The beach is absolutely beautiful with the clearest water and softest sand. We were also able to enjoy the pool and hot tub which were both also amazing. We hope to be back, this was definitely a family favorite vacation spot.

Perfect family getaway

Rick was so accommodating in letting us get into the condo early. We have a 2 year old and it really helped getting a place for a nap (iykyk) He had everything you could need. We cooked a few days and didn’t lack any supplies. The beds were very comfortable and views great. Family friendly people were there as well. Extremely clean. Couldn’t recommend enough. The only thing we didn’t find were any beach towels so remember to bring tour own. If you have toddlers, I will say the waters here were a little more rough and didn’t have a calm sand bar like we’ve had in other condos. Not a negative to this listing just something to note if you have little ones.

Rent at Sterling Sands, Destin, FL.

This condo could not have been better for our visit to Destin. From initial contact with the property owner through to the end of our stay, all information was quick, clear, complete and very friendly. The location was perfect; second floor right on the ocean with two sets of patio doors, with plenty of chairs and tables on the balcony was extra special. The entire unit was spotless, updated and had all the conveniences we are accustomed to. Access to the condo, the beach, the pool and the fitness center couldn’t be easier. The enhanced security measures are nice, but certainly didn’t feel the need - we were comfortable and at ease day and night. The location is excellent, close to all the local attractions and within walking distance to many. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back.

Wonderful

Stunning condo, clean and beautifully decorated, tons of storage. The kitchen is so well stocked, literally everything needed to cook for a group. It was so nice to find salt/pepper, spices, cooking spray, etc… We also had meals on the lovely balcony with comfortable furniture, watching dolphins every morning! We will definitely be staying here again!

Wonderful Family Vacation

We had the most wonderful stay! The condo was clean, bright, updated, and stocked with everything that we needed. Rick was excellent with communication, and we felt very welcomed and taken care of there. Our view…10/10! We watched dolphins every single morning. We loved that this unit was on the second floor and near the stairs with our young children. It was nice not having to wait for an elevator every single time we loved the property or went down to the pool/beach. Our family especially loved that the beach chairs were included! The kids had a blast in the pool and enjoyed shaved ice that was offered on the property. We can’t wait to come back. Thank you, Rick :)

The Absolute BEST!

Summarizing this vacay is going to be hard! We had the best time staying in Rick Elliott's condo at Sterling Sands! This is our 4th season coming to Destin in October, and it was our best! Rick's condo is absolute PERFECTION! It's spacious and beautiful. Everything was spotlessly clean. The master bedroom is on the beach side of the condo and we were able to wake up, pull the curtains, and see the ocean first thing in the morning! The beds are really comfortable! I have a bad back and was able to sleep comfortably! Rick is a very attentive host. He checked in with us first thing to make sure we were happy with our accommodations. Having a covered parking spot was a nice plus as well! We have stayed at Sterling Sands for the last 3 seasons and have now found our favorite condo! We will book again with Rick!

We loved this condo and the location. This condo is a few steps away from the beach and is in the perfect location. The condo is spacious and clean. The owner was great to work with as well. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Too Awesome!

There are many objective topics to discuss-all of them positive for us-location, decor, amenities, even the ease of check in. And while we found all of these to be exactly what we wanted and imagined-your mileage will vary so I will stick to the subjective. Communication with the owner was always prompt and clear-at no point were we confused by directions or expectations. I would go so far as to say the interactions were also friendly, warm, and courteous. Location of the property is in the central part of town-three miles of either side is all the further you need to travel to access a variety of entertainment places, department stores, groceries, pharmacy, souvenirs, and restaurants. The airport is an easy drive as well. The linens are fresh and crisp, the kitchen is well appointed for both cooking and dining, and-HUGE bonus for me-the ice machine in the freezer cranks out a ton of ice in a short while! The balcony is very large and will easily fit 5 adults. The beach sands and water are as you expect them to be in Destin-this is why you are here, after all. The beach service (umbrellas and chairs, shaved ice, and some water sport rentals) was also timely, friendly, and professional. Overall, we had an excellent stay in an excellent location provided by an excellent host. You will be hard pressed to find a better experience.
