We recently stayed at this rural property and had a mixed experience. On the positive side, the house is spacious, family-friendly, and offers plenty of room to gather and relax. It’s ideal for larger groups in theory and has a lot of potential.
However, there were several issues that impacted our stay. The property is advertised as having 5 bedrooms but only has 3, which was disappointing and misleading. Despite trying to contact the property owner twice by phone and once via email to address this, we received no response, which was frustrating.
The cleanliness also left much to be desired. There was a noticeable buildup of dust around the beds and throughout the house, which triggered asthma attacks and allergies in 6 out of 8 guests during the night. Additionally, the linens were not properly cleaned, with small hairs and fibers on the bed sheets.
Overall, while the property’s size and setup are great for families, the lack of cleanliness, misrepresentation of the bedroom count, and poor communication significantly detracted from our experience. A deep clean and better attention to detail could make this property a much more enjoyable stay.
