Cosy Straw Bale Studio near vineyards and Square

The Straw Studio is ideal for a couple who wants to be near the town centre with its cafes, restaurants, cinema, wine centre and boutique shops as well as being able to explore the vineyards by foot. No need to use your car as everything is within walking distance.
The studio is fully self contained and faces north so that it gets all day sun. There are wide opening bi-fold doors onto a patio perfect for breakfast and dining. It is very cosy with its straw bale walls which create a calm, peaceful feeling.
There is a carport alongside the Studio.

Great stay
Lovely apartment sized accomodation. Super handy to the square, shops and majority of the wineries. Easy to heat. Enjoyed the extra touches like the milk and muesli. We had a fun stay and would come back again.

A really cute and unique spot. Very comfortable.
My husband and I came for a wedding in the are and loved the unique nature of the property. Super handy to everything in Martinborough and we had everything there that we needed. Perhaps could have done with a quick vacuum before we arrived, but other than that it was a very comfortable stay. Easy to find, easy to get in, comfy bed, nice place.

Great little place. Bed was very comfortable and with the heatpump above the bed it was very warm. Has a Mediterranean feel, love the walls and floor. Highly recommended and will definitely be back.

Super convenient location within walking of the square & some vineyards. Especially love the doors opening out into the garden. Bruce was easy to communicate with prompt responses to any questions I had. Really enjoyed our stay here in this cosy studio.

Beautiful Straw-bale Studio
This was the perfect place for a few days unwinding. Near vineyards and a short stroll into town. We really appreciated the quiet naturalness of the aesthetic here, solid with deep walls, yet spacious and full of light. The garden gave a sense of privacy and the flow to the outdoors and seating felt very nourishing. The photos don’t really do justice to the space. Highly recommend!

Straw Bale Studio
Bruce was a fantastic host, from communication to being super efficient after the pervious guests departed and having the studio available earlier than anticipated. This also lead to us being able to park at the property earlier so we could then park and walk the 400m to the Martinborough Fair. The accommodation as super clean, private and comfortable. A super relaxing stay!!! Thank you :)
