This kiwi classic has spacious open-plan living with large bi-folds that open onto a large sunny deck - perfect for lounging or socialising.

A clean and tidy bach with everything you need to make your stay comfortable.

Where the mighty Waikato River meets the ocean, Port Waikato is a big outdoor playground. With awesome surf, great fishing, scenic coastal walks, fun river activities.
Enjoy coffee and quality food at Sylvias awesome cafe.

And when your done exploring don't miss one of the best sunsets in the world. Sunset beach is just a short stroll from the bach and is patrolled by surf lifeguards over the summer months.
Special conditions:
Deck is is not fenced but is legal i.e. less than 1 metre high.

Lovely Bach by the sea!
This is a classic kiwi bach and we loved our stay here. The deck and big bifold doors are so nice on a sunny day. Our son loved the backyard which was fenced. The beds were really comfortable and the house had everything we needed. There’s a great coffee shop on the beach which is a 2 minute walk from the house and a fish and chip van in the holiday park which was really nice too.

Lovely west coast beach
Lovely wee Bach with comfy beds and an open plan living area flowing onto a deck. Very close to the beach making walks for a swim nice and easy. Bach was well equipped, although agreed with comments about knives (we brought our own) . It had more of the basics (salt, pepper and the like) than I was expecting so may be worth noting that you don't need to bring those. Shower head is probably the biggest draw back. Port Waikato is an easy drive from Tāmaki, not built up and still has that cruisy summer feel without it being built up. You do need to get all your food, although it's not a terrible drive to Puke if you were staying for longer than a few days. Roger is responsive and friendly. Highly recommend.

More than what we expected
Need to update photo that the size of the lounge/dining through to open deck is for all to see. Initially thought place was compact for 5 adults … total opposite. Our remaining adult children had to reside close by in cordyline road. We all came together at this beaut spacious place. Beds, shower, etc all comfy. Make sure you come with all that you need. Closest shop is in tuakau if nothing open in port Waikato. Definitely will return

What a spot!
We loved this bach. Great size, with everything you need. We spent Christmas here, and appreciated the kitchen facilities and the BBQ, and made good use of the deck. It was great to be able to open all of the doors to get great air flow on hot days. Sunset Beach being a few minutes away was great - great for exploring, sunsets (of course!) and swims. Thanks Roger.
