A comfortable holiday home a short walk from Ohope’s expansive sandy ocean beach and sheltered inner harbour. Boat ramp, fishing wharf, 18 hole golf course, tennis courts, bowling green, cafes, restaurants and shops only a short drive away. Power boat, sail, windsurf, paddle board, kayak and fish in the in the harbour. Swim, surf or surf-cast in the ocean or play and sunbath on the clean sandy beach. Great walks and mountain-biking in the nearby reserves.
This 3-bedroom Lockwood home one back from the beach front, master bedroom with own deck and ensuite, modern open, spacious sunny lounge and large deck leads to a fenced private rear section while lock up double garage and carport provides ample storage and parking for all your holiday toys, cars and boats. The perfect base for your perfect stress-free holiday.
The district boasts some of the highest sunshine hours in New Zealand and Ohope has long been regarded one of New Zealand’s top beaches and holiday playgrounds.

We stayed 8 nights, arrived at night and left at 4am. It is a Lockwood house so very noisy, at night when you walk around. Beach is very close, to walk to but not hear the ocean at night. We enjoyed our stay house had everything we needed.

Awesome Kiwi Bach

Perfect for a weekend away or longer, has everything you need & easily feels like a home away from home! We had 3 adults and 2 tweens so plenty of room & an easy walk to the beach or harbour - we’ll be back. Thanks for great stay!

Ohope Reunion

Conveniently located close to beach and not far from shops and the port. Sitting room area large enough for gathering of other friends staying nearby. The neighbour's glorious flowering pohutukawa was a bonus. Comfy beds. Well-equipped kitchen. Another bonus was having the two bathrooms.

Lovely stay by the beach

We were very impressed with the lovely Lockwood home with surrounding deck.Very comfortable beds and we even had a ensuite.Great location a short walk to the beach.Would highly recommend.

Great Bach in a perfect location

The Bach had everything we needed and was in a great location just a couple of minutes walk to the beach. It was very clean and communication with the owner was easy and fast.

Good convenient touches, eg salt, pepper, coffee, sugar, cooking oil, modern appliances made setting up home very easy as we didn’t have to pack anything except clothes and bed linen. Great dealing with Miles.

Amazing stay in Lockwood home

This house was perfect for the long weekend. Love the Lockwood style home and the deck out the back. Sat and read my book in the morning sun on the deck while listening to the tuis and the waves crashing. 10/10 would stay again

Ohope beach stay

Visited during winter but weather was pretty good. Had everything we needed, good size lounge, good size bedrooms, and a bit of lawn for kicking a ball around. The heat pump in the lounge and a small heater in the bedroom did well to keep us warm, though a heater for each of the bedrooms might have been handy on one of the colder days. Whole process was very easy and enjoyed our stay, thankyou :)
