About this property

Cottage living in cool North Hobart

Summary:
Simplicity and character define this 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom historical cottage in NoHo’s cultural hub. Perfect for a couple’s Tassie getaway or group of friends, the renovated cottage retains its 120 year old period charm. Conveniently located, just 10 minutes walk from North Hobart’s Elizabeth Street strip lined with restaurants, bars, pubs, cafés and shops, and a 25 minute walk into Hobart CBD. For your morning coffee or lunch, head to Trophy Room, just a 7 minute walk from the home.

The Space:
Two generous sized bedrooms each with Queen-sized beds, high ceilings and original period fireplaces add a touch of charm.

Enter into the open plan kitchen, living and dining space for a relaxed living area featuring cosy leather couch, split-system and another original fireplace to invite ideas of sharing a bottle of red in the evenings.

The light-filled kitchen has been renovated with all modern conveniences including café style coffee machine, electric stove top and microwave.

The kitchen opens to a fully fenced outdoor patio with outdoor setting to enjoy morning coffees or afternoon drinks, along with an off-street car space if needed.

Beautifully designed large, modern bathroom with floor to ceiling shower, ample vanity space and laundry with washing machine.

Guest Access:
Guests have full access and private use of the entire property during their stay.

The Neighborhood:
The home is located in a residential neighbourhood, with easy access to Brooker Highway and close to cool restaurants and eateries of North Hobart.

For great coffee and food, try Trophy Room or Room for a Pony, both a short walk from the cottage. For a classic pub head to The Winston, or something a little fancier, enjoy European-style bistro, Ogee all come highly recommended and only 15 minutes walk from the property.

Take a walk into Hobart CBD and everything it has to offer, just a 25-minute walk, or jump on a bus with stops on nearby Argyle Street.

Getting Around:
Use the well connected Metro Tasmania bus services to get you around town. Neuron and Beam Scooters are available to rent via apps, as well as Taxis and Uber, or you can rent your own car.
Hobart airport is just 15-minute drive, and the MONA ferry terminal is a 30-minute walk or 5-minutes by car.

Interaction with Guests:
Please note I will not be available in person during your stay. I have a management team in place to assist guests with any questions or issues which may arise during their stay.
