The Space:
The Jokers Quarters - One of only two in the complex, the apartment is accessed via a private entrance on the upper level of a completely renovated inner-city townhouse. Virtually new, extremely well appointed and furnished, this two-bedroom apartment offers spacious, light filled, open-plan living, a fully equipped kitchen and laundry facilities. Internet and wifi Sonos sound system are provided for your enjoyment Ample heating and double glazing throughout will keep you warm and toasty in winter.
The rooftop deck, with views across Hobart, is furnished with comfy lounges and features an undercover kitchen and bbq sure to tempt you all year-round. Please be aware, the rooftop is accessed via a very steep attic ladder which may not be suitable for all guests. Enjoy city vistas, laneway street art, magnificent Mount Wellington views and spectacular sunsets from this inner-city pad.

Guest Access:
Access is via a self check-in and late arrival is no issue. The apartment does not come with parking however its location is perfect for commuting on foot.

Harrington Lane sits right in the heart of inner-city Hobart, surrounded by a mix of historic charm, vibrant culture, and modern comforts. The area is an ideal base for exploring Hobart’s highlights, all within a short stroll. Salamanca Place, with its lively market on Saturdays, boutique shops, and art galleries, is just minutes away. Here, you can experience the best of Tasmania's creative arts, local crafts, and gourmet food scene.
Nearby, the waterfront is home to an array of restaurants, where you can savor some of Australia’s finest seafood with stunning views of the Derwent River. From there, it's easy to catch the ferry to MONA, the Museum of Old and New Art, renowned for its unique architecture and avant-garde exhibitions. The neighborhood also offers cozy cafes, boutique breweries, and intimate wine bars, providing a taste of Hobart's local lifestyle.

For destinations a bit farther out, like MONA or Mount Wellington, Hobart's Metro buses offer a reliable and affordable option. The main bus hub is located at Elizabeth Street, a short walk from Harrington Lane, where you can easily catch buses that connect to other parts of the city and its suburbs. Another fantastic option is the ferry to MONA, which departs from Brooke Street Pier. This scenic route along the Derwent River is an experience in itself and one of the most enjoyable ways to reach the museum.
Europcar and Hertz rentals are literally metres away from the apartment for your convenience.
Taxis and rideshare services like Uber are also readily available throughout Hobart and are convenient for reaching nearby neighbourhoods or attractions. For a bit of adventure, renting a bike or joining a bike tour is a great way to see the city and surrounding areas at your own pace, with several paths leading along the river and through picturesque parts of town.

Due to certain aspects of the apartment unfortunately we can not host children.
Please note one of the bedrooms does not have a window in case this is an issue.
There is no parking on site.
The building does not have lift access in case you have mobility issues.
