About this property
'Thirteen' - Heritage Terrace in Battery Point
Summary:
A gorgeously restored Georgian terrace, situated in Battery Point and only a 2 minute walk to bustling Salamanca Place. The property features two large bedrooms, one with Queen sized bed, the other with a Queen and Single bed. This quaint, historic property comes with parking and gas heating to keep warm in Hobart's cooler months. Thirteen's sister property 'Fifteen' is adjacent and also available for booking on airbnb. A gorgeous and convenient place to stay on vacation.
The Space:
Hidden behind the convict built stone and brick exterior is 13 James Street. Newly restored throughout and featuring oak flooring, stone bench tops and gas cooktops in the kitchen. Gas heating has been installed making the space comfortable in Hobart's cooler months.
The space features two double bedrooms, one with a Queen sized bed the other with a Queen and Single bed. Typical of old Georgian houses, the property features a very steep and narrow staircase which may not be suitable for people with mobility issues or small children (please see photos).
Enjoy the sunny, private deck and off-street car parking (please note larger cars and four wheel drive might find it hard to manoeuvre in the space).
'Fifteen' on James is the adjacent (identical) property and also available for booking through airbnb - see this link:
https://www.airbnb.com.au/rooms/22886811?s=51
Guest Access:
The terrace and 1 x parking space are entirely yours for the duration of your stay.
The Neighborhood:
The terrace is located only 2 minutes walk from historic Salamanca Place, home of the Salamanca Market held every Saturday year round. Hobart's CBD is an easy 5 minute walk.
Getting Around:
Battery Point is a historic village on the fringe of Hobart and walking-distance to all inner-city attractions. If you are going to stay anywhere -make it Battery Point!
Other Things to Note:
As mentioned in the property description, the car parking is tight (off-street parking in Battery Point is a rarity so we are lucky to have one!).
Interaction with Guests:
If you encounter any issues or have any questions during your stay, we are only a message or phone call away.
