Positioned in one of historic Battery Point's most picturesque streets and only metres from Salamanca Place, you will find heritage-listed Kelly Street Cottage. Beautifully furnished interiors are complimented by a private courtyard surrounded with cottage gardens. Conveniently located around the corner from Jackman & McRoss bakery and down the road from the Prince of Wales Tavern. Complimentary off-street parking and WiFi is offered to all guests.
The Space:
Kelly Street Cottage is a quaint property situated in historic Battery Point. The property is spread over 2 levels - downstairs features one bedroom and a beautifully furnished and styled lounge area. The lounge flows into the kitchen space, which is equipped with the essentials for self-catering. A breakfast bar comfortably seats 4 guests for meals. The bathroom is positioned off the kitchen and features a walk in shower.
Upstairs is a large loft area furnished with a queen bed at one end and a single bed at the other. An additional single bed can be pulled out from underneath if required. Please see photos and read additional information under the heading 'Other things to note'.
Outside you will find a gorgeous courtyard surrounded by cottage gardens. Enjoy the afternoon sun here after a day exploring Hobart.
The property has panel heaters upstairs and downstairs.
Laundry facilities are available to you in a separate shed outside (with washing machine and dryer). Please note the laundry is also available to 2 other apartments (this is the only shared space).
Kelly Street Cottage has secure, off-street car parking for 1 x vehicle. If you have an additional vehicle, we may be able to offer you an extra park so please enquire.
Kelly Street steps, built in 1840 by adventurer James Kelly, are located at the end of the street and link Battery Point to Salamanca Place and the wharf precinct. Kelly Street Cottage is walking distance to all inner-city attractions. Salamanca Place is 2 minutes walk, the MONA ferry 5-10 minutes and the CBD also only 10 minutes.
Getting Around:
The cottage comes with free, off-street parking for all guests. All inner-city attractions are within easy walking distance and the MONA ferry is only 10 minutes walk, which will take you straight to the acclaimed museum via the Derwent River.
Hobart is an easy city to navigate (we drive on the left), alternatively the city is serviced by a reliable bus network (Metro Tasmania), taxis and Uber.

Please note Kelly Street Cottage was built in the 1800s and is 85 sqm in size, which should be taken into account when considering the property for larger groups.
