Historic Kelly's Steps connecting Battery Point to Salamanca Place is a stone's throw away at the end of the street. Accommodating up to 2 guests, featuring wifi, smart tv and off-street car parking for guests - a rarity in this historic area.
The Space:
Previously used as a stable, this historic property has since been modernised and converted into two apartments. Apartment 2 is positioned at the rear of the old stable building and is spread over two levels - downstairs features a sunny, fully-equipped kitchen, dining table for enjoying meals and a comfortable lounge area with smart tv.
Upstairs you will find the large master bedroom furnished with a king bed. The compact bathroom is adjacent to the bedroom with a walk-in shower. The property has panel heaters upstairs and downstairs to keep warm in winter.
Outside you can enjoy a cuppa in the sunshine after (or before!) a day of exploring Hobart. You will have access to 1 x off-street car park for the duration of your stay, which is a rarity in historic Battery Point.
Laundry facilities are available to you in a separate shed outside. Please note the laundry is also available to two other apartments (this is the only shared space).

You will have access to the entire apartment for the duration of your stay. It is a self check-in whereby you can check in any time after 2pm. A message with all relevant information will be sent to you 3 days prior to your arrival so please check your airbnb inbox.
The Neighborhood:
Battery Point is arguably Hobart's most desirable suburb, offering picturesque streets lined with heritage-listed properties. Leave the car at the apartment and explore the neighbourhood, starting your day with breakfast and a coffee from Jackman & McRoss Bakery around the corner.
The apartment is in a fantastic location, walking distance to all inner-city attractions. Salamanca Place is a 2 minute walk, the MONA ferry 5-10 minutes and the CBD only 10 minutes.
Getting Around:
The apartment comes with free, off-street parking for all guests. All inner-city attractions are within easy walking distance and the MONA ferry is only 10 minutes walk, which will take you straight to the acclaimed museum via the Derwent River.
Hobart is an easy city to navigate (we drive on the left), alternatively the city is serviced by a reliable bus network (Metro Tasmania), taxis and Uber.
Other Things to Note:
The laundry is in an outdoor shed off the car parking area and is shared with two other apartments. It is equipped with both a washing machine and dryer.
