Take in in the sunshine from the large outdoor deck of this spacious home in Mount Stuart, just a short walk from North Hobart’s boujee restaurant strip and cafes. Stunning light filled home with modern features to elevate your stay in Tasmania’s vibrant cultural capital.
Three generous sized bedrooms, and 1.5 bathrooms, you’ll enjoy sunsets on the balcony, as you take in the mountain views.
The Space:
Located in a quiet residential street, the home is 20 minutes walk to North Hobart’s iconic restaurant precinct in nearby Elizabeth Street where you can saviour Tasmania’s finest produce at Ogee, Lizzie and Lefroy and Pancho Villa to name a few.
The space is light, modern and has three generous sized bedrooms, sleeping up to six guests. Two bedrooms have Queen sized beds (one with desk and workstation), the third bedroom features one king single bed and one single bed.
For added comfort, each bedroom has a wall mounted electric heater fitted, with a split system in the shared spaces, as well as a gas fireplace in the lounge.
Living, dining and kitchen spaces are perfect for guests to connect and entertain, along with the sun-soaked balcony equipped with outdoor setting, lounge, BBQ and mountain views. The home features electric blinds, modern kitchen and cooking appliances to add special touches to your Tasmanian stay.
Outside, on the ground level, you’ll find another alfresco dining space, laundry room with washer and dryer, as well as off-street parking with a secure gate.
For a morning coffee and something tasty to eat, head to the nearby cafes, Room for a Pony and Born in Brunswick, just a 3 minute drive or 20 minute walk.
Walking into Hobart CBD will take you 30 minutes, or just 6 minutes by car.
Guest Access:
Guests have full access and private use of the entire top floor house. There is a bedsit privately located underneath the home, the tenant uses the shared driveway for pedestrian access.
The Neighborhood:
Enjoy the abundant North Hobart restaurant and cafe strip, only 20 minutes walk from the home. An independent cinema, bookshop, specialist shops, live music venues and some of the best bars in Hobart are found on Elizabeth Street.
Continue on Elizabeth street to the CBD, Hobart Waterfront and Mona Ferry departure point.
Just a few minutes walk from the home is Leonard Wall Reserve for a leisurely stroll or jog in Tasmania’s beautiful nature.
Getting Around:
Use the well connected Metro Tasmania bus services to get you around town with bus stops on nearby Gordon Avenue or Mount Stuart Road. Neuron and Beam Scooters are available to rent via apps, as well as Taxis and Uber, or you can rent your own car.
Hobart airport is just 20 minute drive, and the MONA ferry terminal is 8 minutes by car.
