The Space:
Situated in lower Sandy Bay and overlooking the River Derwent, enjoy a game of Eight ball or relax with a glass of wine on the deck at this wonderful townhouse. Only a 10-15 minute drive from the CBD and Salamanca Place, if you are looking for a place to unwind after a long day of exploring Hobart then this might just be perfect!

The townhouse sleeps up to 6 guests across 3 bedrooms. 2 bedrooms have queen beds and 1 bedroom has 2 single beds. The master bedroom has an ensuite and the main bathroom has the option of either a bath or shower.

The open-plan living/kitchen/dining is the perfect space for cooking meals and eating at the large island bench. Please note a dining table for 6 has been added since the photos were taken.

If you are in town for work, make use of the study area with access to unlimited WiFi.

You will have access to 2 x off-street parking spaces for the duration of your stay.

Guest Access:
You will have full use of the townhouse for the duration of the stay. The only space which is locked and unavailable to guests is the garage - however there are 2 x parking spaces outside.

The Neighborhood:
The property is located in lower Sandy Bay, 7 km from the CBD. Sandy Bay shopping precinct is 5km away, where you will find major supermarkets, Banks, Cafes etc.

There is a small grocer, chemist, butcher and great Chinese take away (and dine-in) in Lower Sandy Bay, approx 2km away. Here you will also find Long Beach with a large playground, BBQ areas and also a pontoon for summertime fun. If you like long walks, head along the water to nutgrove beach and back up to Sandy Bay Road for a coffee at Lola at the bottom of Maning Avenue.

If you are staying during the warmer months, make sure to head to secluded Hinsby Beach in neighbouring suburb Taroona - it's a great little spot for a swim!

Getting Around:
Although the house is positioned on a convenient and regularly serviced bus route, it would be best to hire a car for your stay if you want flexibility. A cab or Uber to the city/wharf precinct/Salamanca is around $20.

Other Things to Note:
The driveway is steep, however you are able to drive right up to the front door. Please note there are stairs inside the property in case mobility is an issue.
