About this property

Sea Peeks Holiday Home

Original Kiwi holiday home from the past that has been added to and modernised to give you an ideal relaxed and comfortable holiday stay. This comfortable north facing three bedroom bach has great indoor/outdoor flow as well as plenty of outdoor space to play.

Families are preferred. We have high regard for our neighbours and it is of utmost importance that their privacy and peace is maintained throughout your stay. Please NO PARTIES and keep noise to a minimum.

Pets are welcome but can you please let us know if you are bringing a dog (limit one dog per stay unless discussed).

Outside smoking only.

Local facilities include shops, cinema, bars, restaurants and takeaways within walking distance of the property with the 4 Square only a short stroll away or a 10 min drive to additional supermarkets, wide range of restaurants, bars, takeaways and retail and specialty stores.

This is a great location to relax at the beach or be adventurous and explore the surrounding attractions of Papamoa, Mount Maunganui and Tauranga, or use as a base to explore further afield.

Surrounding Attractions include:
Walking the beach, sand dunes, bush and harbour, Papamoa Hills for views from East Cape to Coromandel or Mauao base or summit track, range of 18 and 9 hole golf courses, fishing, mountain biking, Rock climbing (indoor and outdoor), ocean, harbour and fresh water swimming, tennis, surfing, kite surfing, frisbee golf, mini golf, miniature railway, sailing to list a few.

Shopping areas include Fashion Island and Palm Beach Plaza, Bayfair, Mount Maunganui, Tauranga, Bethlehem, Fraser Cove and The Crossing at Tauriko.

Within One Hours drive:
Rotorua for boiling mud and thermal activity, free world class mountain bike tracks, luging, Zorbing, animal parks and cultural attractions and experiences

Whakatane: Great drive along the coast where you can take a boat out to the active White Island Volcano or visit the popular beach of Ohope.

Waihi and Waihi Beach: Orokawa Bay and Karangahape Gorge walkways, gold mines history, Goldfields railway

Matamata: The world famous movie set of Hobbiton Village

This was a great location, an easy walk to be beach!The house was very tidy, well fenced for the dogs and exactly what we were after.Really enjoyed relaxing on the back deck.

Wonderful place near beach
We had a wonderful stay at this property. It had everything we needed to enjoy a few days near the beach as a family. The owners provided great instructions and were friendly and available as needed. Would definitely return next time we are in the area.

Have stayed here multiple times and have always loved it. Its a bit far from town but makes a scenic trip into the mount. Perfect for the beach not far at all. The hosts always friendly and accommodating when something comes up. The only downfall was the bugs, everywhere yuc lol. Certainly no fault at all to the hosts or bach Definitely would stay again!!

This is our second time of renting this property and recommend it as it has all amenities you would require. It is the idea place to have your pet as it has a good garden that is fenced and therefore plenty of room to run in.

Comfortable cottage
This was one of the best book-a-bach cottages we have stayed in. We were met by the owner when we arrived which was nice. The cottage was very comfortable and clean. The log burner was ready for us to light but we didn't need it as the weather was very good all week. It was in easy reach of the shops and beach. We recommend this property.

Very accommodating owners when our car broke we were able to stay extra , they were helpful yet left us alone . Highly recommend as a convenient place to stay while in Papamoa. Quiet cottage stay
We were very happy with the ease of finding the property, the front entry gate, and the property as a whole. We could hear the surf at night, which was relaxing. The house had all the amenities that you need for a stay. There were instructions on how to use most of the appliances and that was very helpful. We had to Google how to operate the Hob (stove top) as we were unfamiliar with how it worked, but managed ok. If we are back in the area some time in the future, we would stay here again.
