Set in native bush with a magnificent view across the bay to the sparkling gulf and Kaukarau forest. A secluded hideaway with native bird song, short walk to two beaches and our local cafe, plus artisan 'foodie' shops and several vineyards close by.
Okoka Sky is on a sunny elevated site, with a one level open plan format capturing the sweeping 180 degree views of the sea and to one side the Kaukarau forest ridge. Secluded and quiet, our home has everything you need for a comfortable and cozy stay, a perfect hideway or gateway to what Waiheke is all about!
The large deck is also designed to capture the beautiful vista including the surrounding native bush, featuring Tui, native wood pigeon and Kingfishers. The 'outdoor lounge' includes a large extendable table that seats eight, bean bag chairs and a lounger.
The master bedroom also captures the stunning views which you can enjoy while having a cup of tea in bed.
The kitchen is well equipped with a large fridge/freezer, standard cooker/oven, mini oven and microwave. The layout includes a large island bench, open to the living area and deck so you can wine, dine and create while enjoying the sea and fauna. There's breakfast bar seating for two and a separate dining table that extends to seat eight.
The living room sofa is in a 'L' shape/chaise lounge format so you can stretch out and relax or nap (there's a TV, stereo and DVD player).
The bathroom has a shower, washing machine, laundry tub and separate toilet (and even here you can enjoy the view from the loo if you're happy to leave the door open!).
There's off street car parking and additional space across the road.
