The house location, was incorrect nor an easy walk to Paihia unless the tide was out. There was no wifi or exhaust fans, so cooking set off the smoke alarm and you had to shower with the window open. The property was very clean however was full of scented candles and air freshener to overshadow the smell of damp which is dangerous for people with asthma and allergies, so had to air out the house for 3 hours before entry and all other times while inside so we could breath meaning it filled with mozzies. The special price was excellent, as I definitely would not have paid full price and a picture of the accommodation should be available to clients not the beach as the view from the Bach is broken down vehicles.

Perfect accommodation with everything you need
The bach was perfect, well equipped with everything you needed. Cosy & comfy
This small quirky little Bach was clean and had a well stocked kitchen. Very close to town, only a 5 minute drive from the little shops and from the harbour where you can get on numerous tours. Only complaint was that we had no communication with the owner. Checkin instructions on the app worked well. Didn’t know what to do with garbage or dirty towels. So we just left them. Regardless would recommend this as a place to stay during your visit to Paihia.

Cute but musty
The bungalow was cute and clean inside with modern décor, but unfortunately there was a terrible smell of musty almost like a moldy smell. We did have doors and windows open to air out, but as soon as it was shut up, the odor came back. We also found the bed quite uncomfortable. We were unsure about the parking, as the space we assumed was ours to use next to the bungalow and in front of the fence designating the back yard was used by some others when we had gone out on a couple of occassions.
We stayed here during dreadful weather, rain, wind and flooding. The house was great; we had everything we needed. When the weather finally improved, we loved the outdoor area. Will stay again.
A cute cottage,It is packed alongside similar cottages, so while you have a standard high fence it does leave some privacy to be desired. House was spotless with everything we needed. Great place would go again
Had a wonderful time staying in this quaint home. It is very spacious and homely. the deck, garden and outside furniture are a great addition. Thank you for opening up your home to us.
perfect wee bach, photos don’t do it justice! also note there was wifi available and the speed was great (as had to work for a couple days during the stay). So many little decorative touches and it had everything you could ever need - super homey! Thanks :)
