One Tree Point is an idea place for time out. It is a short walk from the house to the edge of the pohutukawa rimmed Whangarei Harbour for safe swimming and walks around the coastline and a few minutes’ drive to the surf beach of Ruakaka. The distinctive profiles of Mt Manaia and Whangarei Heads are across the harbour.
Launch the boat, jet-ski or kayak at the local One Tree Point boat ramp or in the sheltered waters of Marsden Cove Marina or fish the waters of Whangarei Harbour.
The house sits on a good sized almost flat, fully fenced, child safe section with plenty of off street parking and room for a boat. It has three bedrooms, a lounge/dining area with TV, Freeview, DVD player and stereo, conservatory, bathroom with shower and bath, separate toilet, fully equipped kitchen, a laundry with a washing machine, a heat pump and HRV system, high chair and deck. Outdoor bean bags, a sun umbrella and a barbeque are available.
Shopping is at the local store or at the Ruakaka Town Centre (supermarkets, medical centre, chemist, cafe and takeaways, stationer/post office, tavern). There is a waterside cafe/restaurant at Marsden Cove Marina.
Local attractions include Ruakaka Beach, Ruakaka Races, Marsden Cove Marina, 4 Square grocery shop, Uretiti Beach, Waipu and Waipu Cove, Waipu Museum, Waipu Caves, Waipu Golf Course and markets at Marsden Cove, Whangarei, Waipu and Mangawhai.
