Our property is located on the south side of Anchorage, mid-Hillside. The apartment is located on the second floor of our detached garage, with a private, secure entrance. The unit has 1 bedroom with a queen bed, 1 sofa queen pullout, and everything you need for your getaway. This quiet area has beautiful views and lots of wildlife viewing.

Light and Refreshing

We were SO happy with the cleanliness and the brightness of this rental. It was in a peaceful and spacious neighborhood. We didn’t hear or see any neighbors. The rental had everything we needed and the instructions for our stay were very clear. Everything felt brand new.

Anchorage foothills retreat

Great peaceful apartment nested in the Anchorage foothills but still close to all city amenities. Would highly recommend. We even were visited by some moose.

Adorable unit

Very comfortable, well maintained and well supplied. We would recommend this property 100 percent. Just be mindful of the stairs if you have knee or hip issues.

Quiet and peaceful

Cute Alaskan getaway

This was a great, cozy property nestled in a beautiful neighborhood. I had a great time with my sister, brother-in-law, and nephew. Property was exactly as described, bed was super comfy. Host was prompt in replying to any questions. Would definitely stay here again!

Super clean and well stocked!

Such a cute cozy unit!!! It was very clean and well stocked with everything we needed. We really appreciated the early check in after a redeye flight with the kids. It was also nice to be a little away from the city in a quiet location surrounded by nature. Thank you!!

Nice Place

This is a beautiful place to stay and felt very safe. Bed was comfy and had everything that was listed on the website. The cons we had is with the wifi that keep buffering until it was reset which was almost at the end of our stay, 11 days. We could not have the TV on and use our phone or tablet at the same time with out buffering. We ended up going out and buying a clock radio just to have music.The other issue is if you wanted to watch TV you had to do it in the bedroom as there is no TV in the kitchen/living room area. Also we knew it was an above garage apartment but it was 18 steps to go up and down each time you left.

Family get away

We were able to take a short trip to Anchorage. This rental made the trip so much more memorable. It’s tucked away in a beautiful location but close enough to all of the amenities. Everything was clean, all of the necessities were available and the beds were super comfy. Absolutely loved this rental.

Short trip but wonderful stay

This property is perfect for a couple or small family. We were only in town a few days but this efficient apartment has all the amenities of home. The owners are quick to respond to online inquiries. Check in is seamless with electronic keys

The Perfect Location and Stay

The unit was clean, well maintained and perfectly appointed. I got to see a moose and her baby resting in the grass in the morning. This location is close to hiking and Potter’s Marsh with downtown not far away. I will definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to others. Communication was outstanding.

Perfect Anchorage, Alaska accommodations.

We booked this VRBO months ago and the reservation process, communications with the host, check in, description of property, couldn't have been easier/better. Location, location, location!!!! Lindsey's place is only a 15–25-minute drive from the airport, downtown Anchorage, hiking, etc. She was very informative, friendly, and accommodating from start to finish. We also didn't have the hassle of a hotel lobby or the crowds. Our Bucket List vacation to Anchorage was complimented by staying at this property. Thank You Lindsey for a wonderful Stay

Pristinely clean plus a guest moose

The apartment was pristine and had everything we needed. But the best thing was the MOOSE who came to visit in the backyard on our first night. Highly recommend!

Wonder space and location

This was a great location to use for day trips out of Anchorage. It was close to everything we wanted to see and felt like a home away from home. The space was very clean and adorable. Don’t let the fact that the space is above a garage. It was never an issue. Would highly recommend this location and will definitely stay here again.
