About this property

This first floor, sunny open plan apartment has fantastic views of the ever changing estuary and Rabbit Island. Its picture window frames the changing moods of the mountain ranges.
Step out to the beach to swim, fish or kayak. Eat out on the large balcony with BBQ area or sun yourself and listen to the lapping sea estuary.
Amble next door to the cafes, restaurants and wharf activities. Jumping off the wharf as tide is going out is a great fun, local sport for all ages. Explore the many art galleries and vineyards in the region.
Mapua Wharfside Apartments is an ideal base for exploring the surrounding areas of Golden Bay, Abel Tasman and Nelson, a lovely retreat to return to. Jump on the Ferry across to Rabbit Island, picnic on the golden sands. The adjacent cycle trail is suitable for all ages and abilities. Bike hire is available on the Wharf. We have a couple of kayaks and life jackets that can be used by guests on request. Be as active or restful as you desire.

Location Location

We stayed in The View and what a view of the inlet. The sun streams in the front windows in the morning. The location is great with restaurants, bars, takeaway, gift shop and mini market all the other side of the gate. Michelle was great to deal with. We had dinner at The Apple Shed and it was delicious.

Fabulous

We arrived to the property late in the evening tired and cold the owners made sure heaters on which made us feel very welcomed after an awesome sleep pulled back the curtians to a spectacular view . We enjoyed a breakfast at one of resturants which was two minute walk. This is truly the best place to stay views resturants, ferry for bike ride at rabbit island and central location to explore the nelson region Thank you michelle

Beautiful Apartment!

This is a beautiful apartment in a spectacular location. It is right next to the wharf for easy access to restaurants and other shops. We cycled from the apartment to Rabbit Island and to nearby wineries which had some of the best wine we found in NZ. The apartment was very spacious and well equipped. The view and the outside space made it even better! The beds were also very comfortable - I rarely say that - I am a high maintenance sleeper. The owner was very helpful and responsive. I would for sure stay here again!

Fantastic Holiday Home!

This is an amazingly clean, modern holiday home. The views over the estuary are perfect and you can throw a stone to all the boutique restaurants on the Jetty.

We ended up staying in the 3bdrm proptery (which was glorious) so...

We ended up staying in the 3bdrm proptery (which was glorious) so can't comment on the apartment. But the propteries are only a few steps from the wharf and with a view that you can sit and watch all day without moving. All very well presented. If only we could move in forever
