If you’re a family group, in Christchurch for a special event or just friends traveling around the South Island together then the Gresford Town House ticks all the boxes for a stay in our city. This property is a great motel alternative: Privacy and cost can’t be beaten.

Located just north of the eastern end of Bealey Avenue: Everything is within easy distance.
It is less than 3km to the Square or about a 7 - 8 minute drive; 10km from the airport (about 20 minutes by car) and 2.6 km to the Victoria Street restaurant and casino precinct.

Everything you need for a comfortable and independent stay is provided: Full kitchen, washing and drying facilities, comfortable beds, Sky TV, full WiFi Broadband, land line for local calls etc. There is a heat pump in the living area and column heaters in the bedrooms.

Comfortable stay in Edgeware

This property was spacious and clean. We were a group of 4 women and we lived that we had a room each. The kitchen had everything we needed. Convenient location.

Trip back home

My husband, myself and our 3 adult children stayed at this property whilst visiting family. We picked it because of its location, and the 4 bedrooms with large beds. It had everything we needed during our stay. Chocolates and cookie time biscuits welcomed us. We would stay here again. If i could pick holes in anything, it would be no ceiling fans in the bedrooms. It got hot at night and despite coming in from Australia, we definitely felt the heat. Everything else was on par for a fabulous stay. Totally recommend this for anyone contemplating renting a place in Christchurch.

All that you need.

This house is in a great location. The house is not cramped with plenty of room too spread out. Two bathrooms means everyone can get ready quickly Plenty of dinner options near by. Easy access to the City by car or bus. The Richmond Club is just a short stroll away. Everything that you need.

Everything we wanted

Family of 4 stayed here in April. Danielle was quick to respond to questions and had the place ready for an early check in. Everything possible is done to make the house feel like a home and we were comfy and cosy for our week's stay.Beds were comfy with tons of blankets and pillows so everyone was happy. Excellent location and family close by meant we didn't really need to cook but the facilities were great if we had needed to. Definitely recommend if you're looking for a family home close to the city.

Cosy and well located

Property is very well located with most facilities nearby and easy access to city centre. Very comfortable beds with plenty of linen, towels and blankets provided. Fully equiped kitchen. Nice rear garden which would have been nicer if a barbecue was provided. Large garage for vehicle parking which included 2nd fridge if needed and full laundry facilities. Downstairs bathroom is very small and there was nowhere to hang towels, maybe installation of some wall hooks would be a good fix. A word of caution when parking car in driveway, keep vehicle back from garage door as it tilts outward. Overall we had a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

Great convenient place to stay for exploring Christchurch.

A wonderful 4 bedroom home. Clean. Convenient location near the city. When we were there Christchurch had 2 days in the low to mid 30's. One bedroom had a fan, might have been helpful to have a couple more - although we realise Christchurch rarely gets that hot. Only a minor comment. Otherwise there was nothing to fault. Thank you!!!

Ten out of ten!

Ten out of ten for this property. Modern, spacious clean , lovely decor, great linen and sheets. Gorgeous little backyard, perfect for dining outdoors. Big double garage with modern washer and drier. Responsive host. You will need a car if you want to go into the city.

Fantastic accomodation

This property was very clean and comfortable. We only stayed 2 nights but it was very homely and spacious for a family. We had a hire car which could be parked in the garage. The neighbourhood was quiet. Would definately recommend as a good base for anyone wanting a rest from travelling or work.

Awesome place

Everything you could possibly need was here 4 comfortable queen size bedrooms with heating and plenty of pillows for extra comfort. Use of pickup garage to store our hire vehicle. A home away from home. So close to central Christchurch. No complaints from us will be highly recommending this place.

Great location

The house was perfect for a family of 5- 2 adults and 3 teenagers. Located nice and close to the city made life very easy. We arrived late on a rainy evening and the owners had left the heat pump and light on for us. We felt right at home!

Amazing place and a great stay. Only issue was that the kitchen tap water is very cloudy and murky didn't feel comfortable drinking from it. Apart from that the place is amazing

Property was enjoyable BUT communication with hosts re overall booking was devastating, spoilt the start to our holiday. Attention needs to be given to this.

Ideal property and location

The house had everything we needed to host visiting family from the US. Everything was well thought out and had all the provisions we needed for a very comfortable stay. The space was perfect for adults (communal space and spacious bedrooms). The kitchen was well stocked with all the basics, including plunger coffee. Great communication from Danielle. Highly recommended and will stay again.

Awesome place. Loved the fact that all four bedrooms had double or queen beds. Living area great space. Communication and access to property excellent and location very central. City was less than $10 Uber away. Totally recommend
