My partner and I had a wonderful weekend during our stay. The space was cosy with a lovely garden to relax in. Would highly recommend as a quiet space away from the noise of the city.
My brother enjoyed his stay, accept we wouldn't have booked it since parking was out on the road.
We only wanted to stay 2 nights but had to pay for 3 nights stay to book. Didn't like parking out on the road. Didn't supply milk. My brother enjoyed the peace and quiet.
Great private getaway. The constant sound of the sea relaxing us, fruit laden trees around us, no wifi helping to relax us, a batch that's just right for a rest.
Perfect cozy getaway for peace and quiet...not far from home. Definitely if you want to be off the radar...no technological distractions just been still with nature. Sunday pancakes with Feijoas from tree perfect...great for outdoor dining. Well equipped friendly helpful owners...down to earth. Will definitely be booking again!
Tidy and nicely set up. Close to Otaki township and Te Horo Beach was lovely and not as crowded a other nearby beaches over the New Year break. No wifi available and limited data reception.
This property is well described in the notes. It isn't flash, but it has everything we need - a workable kitchen, quiet environment and a good host. The beach is a short drive away, as is Ōtaki with a good range of supplies.
Enjoyed a restful stay here. Great to have linen supplied - saves faff and packing. Remember to bring DVDs if you come and want to watch something! Thanks.

Secluded bach
A good stopping off point, comfortable and quiet location but noisy pump just by the property.
This is our second visit and we love staying here. It's an easy drive from Wellington, even on a Friday afternoon. We love walking on the wild Te Horo beach and even took our dinner to the beach. Magdalena is an excellent host and really looks after her guests. We hope to return soon.
Great communication with owner, easy to get in/out. Really enjoyed the fire place, with no tv a good old fashion radio would be a nice touch. Very private, some information on things to see or do around the place would be nice, other than the tourist maps.
