The Mount beach Is voted No 1 in New Zealand . This holiday home is walking distance to the fabulous safe beach of Mt Maunganui. It is a very popular surfing area. The busy Omanu Surf Club with a patrolled swimming area is a short walk. While you're there Visit "George" a popular cafe offering great coffee and alternative foods. In the other direction walking distance is Tay Street also a popular surf break. This is also a patrolled area. Try "Tay Street" cafe with great food. Or an ice cream
The location of this holiday home is convenient to everything you need to make your holiday so easy. You are within walking distance to Central shops, a New World supermarket, fruiterer, pharmacy, a Service station, deli cafes, Fife Lane Restaurant and Bar, a delicious Thai restaurant and takeaway, Fish and chips, local dairy, laundramat, liquor store. Just a walk away is Blake Park, a sporting venue hosting international cricket events. and many other sporting events.
Numerous walks and bike lanes are scattered throughout this area. Bikes can be hired from a Cycle shop 100m down the road if you don't bring your own. There are wonderful biking and walking circuits along the beach, and also around the Tauranga Harbour.
There are numerous golf courses nearby.
There are Great weekend Markets and Concert venues within walking distance.
This compact sunny house is furnished to make your stay comfortable, hassle free and relaxed. An added extra space is the 'Den', a converted garage, lined and carpeted making it a handy separate area for the family, teenagers and children to play and chill away from the main living area. There are many DVD,'s, Video's, games and a table tennis table. One wall is a blackboard where creative skills can be displayed.
It opens outside to a safe and secure grassed backyard.
There is an outside hot/cold water shower. Bikes, beach gear and surf boards can be safely left outside as this is a private and secure area away from the road.
This private backyard has outdoor furniture and a bar b que for entertaining.
There is off road parking for 1 or 2 cars. The house has a security gate making it safe for vehicles and belongings. There is also handy parking for one car on the road outside the gate. This is a gated home making you feel safe and secure.

We bought this holiday home so we could enjoy the Mt beach and surroundings with family and friends. We live in the Bay of Plenty and have enjoyed the Mount since we were children spending year after year visiting and having so much fun at the lovely Mount Beach. We still love the sea sun and outdoors. We enjoy Biking, golfing, cricket, walking, swimming, cafes, dining, music, markets. Our children and grand children and friends just love the proximity of everything making our holiday home so easy to enjoy, to relax and have time away. Its a wonderful easy house, not too big and not too small, private and safe with everything .to make a break away stress free relaxing and enjoyable. It is a perfect area to stay and enjoy all that the Mount offers.
Why they chose this property
This property is in a great LOCATION. It is very handy to the beach, and to Central Shops with numerous cafes, top restaurants and takeaways, a New World Supermarket, a petrol station and very close to Blake Park sports grounds. THESE ARE ALL WALKING DISTANCE. YOU ARRIVE AND LEAVE YOUR CAR SAFE AND SECURE. at the property. There is No traffic to battle with, or parking hassles to bother about. This is a gated property so vehicles surfboards bikes and outdoor gear can be left outside with no fear of it being removed by unwanted guests.
What makes this property unique
The Den - this is a large separate adjoining room with two single beds and a door connecting the private safe back yard and outdoor shower. This is also an area set up as a comfortable entertainment space for teenagers and children. There is a large sofa and single lounge chair and bean bags. There is a large coffee table ideal for games and puzzles. Numerous Videos are available and DVDs. There is a large wall hung TV where these can be watched. There is also a table tennis table that needs to be assembled. One wall of the room is a blackboard with chalk for budding artists to display their work. There are numerous games and puzzles.
